I was wondering could the Takara Tomy official transformation video be wrong?

I watched this persons transformation video and he managed to fold the back (black) part into the backpack?

Wouldn't that increase the chance of paint scuffing? That's what I've seen from photos posted here.

 

The official is for sure correct and meant for storing the combined part in the back. Folding in the black bit is a fan transformation that risks paint chipping from what I heard. The joints that allow this seem to be for the combined mode chest.

 

dont know if he managed it because there is a cut when he does it so you dont see the final result. when i put that joint like that it the top part wont peg in. so maybe i am doing it wrong but im fine the way i have it without that black piece pegged in the 2 holes

 

Not sure. But it looks a lot cleaner. I don’t understand what he is saying if he is referring to the backpack. If someone can translate. Thanks in advance.

hmm oke.. so i thought i just followed the instructions but for some reason i just did it without the black piece sticking out under it... not sure why but i made sense...

 

Got mine in today from AJP. Thought the transformation would be terrifying due to all the clear plastic, but it was actually quite smooth and enjoyable. The only really scary bit was the rotation of the heel kibble around the foot, which was a bit too tight for my liking.

 

And just like that, BBTS is processing Shouki…I’m impressed, they’re hardly ever this timely!
