I’m sure they would, but Hasbro has price points locked in. $20+, $30+, $50+, 85+. (Pluses accounting for increasing prices). Now we already know the price point for the Fallen. He is a leader class, $50+. That’s dead set and not changing so you either get a compromised leader and shitty skids and mudflap, or a good fallen.
Modern Deluxe figures are $25. Current leaders are $55. Even if Skids and Mudflap are "small" Deluxes, at say "$20", the leaves only a $15 allocation for The Fallen himself. If we drop the Twins to Core, that's $13 a pop, leaving only $29 to budget in the Fallen, which is less that a $33 Voyager. And you wind up with shitty, under-sized Twins. Your math is shit. There's no way you can budget in the Twins and a good Leader Class-ish Fallen in the same package without severely compromising something.
Chances are it will be a good fallen and the twins will just be accessories. Like wheelie and brains were with shockwave.
It's not maths I'm just trying to be optimistic. It could be a one off set. Again it's not very likely. I just would like a studio series the fallen and twins and my rotf cast will pretty much be done.
Then I don't know why you're insisting on that weird, multi-pack nonsense. We can easily get all three without bending over backwards through some weird hoops trying to cram them all into one improbable package. "Optimism" doesn't mean "blindly wish for the impossible".
I just don't know why it's taken so long for us to get the fallen. He's in the title of the second movie for primus sake. We know we are getting him. But why we haven't seen anything is a mystery. I'm just impatient I guess. As I've also said I don't think we will get the Twins with him but we may well do so they are done without drawing too much attention. The focus is the fallen with a few accessories like shockwave with a paratrooper and brains and wheelie.
Because it’s a terrible idea. Two modern deluxe class level figures is 50+ dollars. That’s not just a few extra bucks tacked on to a leader class budget, it’s a god damn commander class set. It’s pointless. Just do The Fallen on its own and then have Skids and Mudflap as their own voyager class priced two pack. That way the two little bots each get roughly 17 dollar price points. Bigger than core class but not quite as large as deluxe class.
I think most people would prefer actual transforming Skids and Mudflap figures as opposed to non transforming accessories. They were small but not THAT small.
I’m pretty sure it’s either a transforming figure or nothing with the twins. It also seems like Hasbro is done including small figures with their leader class figures. Studio Series Sludge doesn’t include one and the core class accommodates those type of characters. The problem with the twins (aside from the big one) is that they’re too short for deluxes and too bulky for cores.
Yeah it was just a wondering what will happen to those characters and would we see them as part of the fallen or separate. ? If they were anyone else I'd say we would've had them by now. I kinda wish I hadn't started the conversation about them.
Separate. Definitely not with Fallen. Probably Core Class. And we know from leakers than Mudflap and Skids apparently are back on the table for being done.
Who knows my man. If they were smart they could make some decent money off of those characters, but sometimes they just make the weirdest decisions. I still wonder who made the decision to make SS Crankcase a Crowbar redeco instead of a Berserker redeco. Do they ever think about what they did? Or did they never even realize the mistake? Questions that keep me up at night lol
Really? Damn I actually have a sliver of hope now. The old ROTF figures were good for their time but now they just kind of annoy me. So clunky and difficult to pose. Headsculpts still look great though.
Realistically they have to be. They played too big a role in ROTF for them to be just ignored by hasbro controversy or not.
Apparently, the reason why Crankcase turned out the way he did, was because the Berserker mold was modified to make Crowbar, but when it came to making Crankcase it was too expensive to reverse the mold back to it's original form, hence why Crankcase was a Crowbar repaint. But hey! At least Sam has given us hope for a proper Crankcase down the road
Oh thank god. I just ended up buying a second Berserker, who was still easy to purchase because of how badly he shelfwarmed, but a proper Crankcase would be awesome.
