Weird....all of these years I thought Action Master Slicer had swords, and I just found out he never did. Guess I was thinking about that Energon version of TF Prime Wheeljack in transparent blue Slicer colors that was a BBTS exclusive all those years ago.

Ah well, I have two swords set aside for him anyway.  

 

I haven't picked up any main line toys since Earthrise. This will be one I won't miss.

His name is wheeljack. It literally says so in the bio, plus mark mentioned he's s covert agent spying on the con's. But hey, if that's your head cannon, go with it!

 

Well, they got me. Just like SG Magnus, I ordered two: one to be G1 Slicer and one to be SG Wheeljack. Damn dual purpose figures.

He's not implying or hinting at an SG Black Zarak right? Wasnt the rumor an Omega Sentinel either as Selects or SG?

 

This looks to be my favorite of the SG figures released thus far! The idea to make the Exo-Suit a weaponizer is brilliant. It's a shame we're only getting one.

 

This gives me hope that we\'ll see a certain gaudy Seeker redeco in the SG line.

 

I had no desire to ever own a Wheeljack toy, but yeah, slap some crazy colors on it & I need the little weirdo.

 

Nah, I think the idea is just that original Black Roritchi has a spear mode, but since he’s gold and black he doesn’t actually look like Zarak’s red spear. So this red Roritchi gives you the option of having a correctly-colored red spear-bot for (regular universe) Zarak.

 

Well, the name Slicer definitely didn't help...
The exo suit does have some sort of serated blades though. Honestly, the wiki sums it up pretty well:

 

Kinda wish they went with a more interesting Exo Suit mold, not necessarily against using a repainted Fasttrack but it would have been neat to see them maybe mix and match a new Weaponizer together or just a new mold to hit that closer but it's still a really good looking set

 

That rumored WheelJack reissue better come with those weapons, because I'm kinda interested in them now.

 

So does the Wheeljack mold just…sit on the Fastrack mold? Has anyone tried to recreate the Slicer/Exo a suit combo from this picture and seen if it actually works? Is it actually compatible with any other molds? I asks because I’ve got Fastrack, but not Wheeljack, and thought it’d be fun to see if this works with any other transformer I might have or be able to get…

 

It doesn't seem like Wheeljack is literally holding the vehicle together, but it does seem like the pegs on Roritchi's shins are plugging into the calves of Slicer's legs, giving a bit of extra rigidity. Those pegs are probably the main obstacle in getting a number of people to sit well. Even if you don't plug into them, the pegs will be in the way.


In the end, this is about on par with a LG Manga "official fanmode". It's a shame that we never got a jeep/buggy/4x4 weaponizer because that could've been used for a good few AM vehicles. Maybe if this does well they'll consider making molds with this sort of use in mind. Although there are definitely some existing molds that could be used to make AM vehicles with a few tweaks. Legacy Arcee would work alright as AM Prowl's bike.

 

I just want a SG Wheeljack. Him being G1 Slicer is just a bonus. I'm not interested in the weaponizer that comes with him (an Action Master G1 Ripley Aliens exo-suit, or dune buggy, other wise not interested and would have been happy with just SG Wheeljack by himself). I will hold off as long as I can for another possible sale instead of preordering right away on this one.

He's not called Wheeljack. Goldbug straight up calls him Slicer.
And he's not spying on the Decepticons.
They even said on stream his job is to infiltrate Goldbug's camp around Metroplex.

 

Had to actually try it. Works surprisingly well, but the stiffness of your Roritchi's arms will be a critical factor (it won't fall apart either way, but it'll be a lot hard to keep everything parallel). It's still a fun bonus mode that I'll probably only do once and otherwise just use the other modes.

 

Slicer looks great, the guns are an odd addition, feel like the belong to an Energon toy instead, but I do like them.
Exo-suit is pretty bad though. Does not look at all like the original.
