I think this is the right thread for this: a faux-lego company called MyBuild has an extensive line of mecha available for sale on Amazon. The trick is that they use original “frame” pieces. The Stryker models resemble Votoms “dogs” somewhat, they’re my favorites. My sets of choice: https://www.amazon.com/MyBuild-Forc...ible/dp/B09HK15NQ6?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/MyBuild-Stry...ible/dp/B09HJXRZBS?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/MyBuild-Forc...ding/dp/B07XYY98QS?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1 Pros and cons: +prices are good +scale well with transformers +high range of motion +quality plastic +many guns +various color schemes +modular frame and instructions makes customization easy. -legs, specifically the ball-jointed ankles, can’t support the Stryker types’ weight at more dynamic angles. -certain small parts were missing. -you have to supply the pilots yourself.
Is it fair to say the building and minifigs are MCU-based? I only collect 20th century comic based designs. Would this fit in my collection with minimal modifications or is it not for me?
After - Loki Then - Spider-Man: No Way Home Then - Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Isn’t every possible universe part of MCU now?
So the Daily Bugle is not MCU? The Doc Ock doesn't look like classic comics Doc Ock to me, for instance.
The Daily Bugle, in the traditional sense, doesn't really exist in the MCU does it? Unless I missed it in No Way Home, I don't think the building exists.
I hate it, for that very reason. I think I made one mistake out of dozens, I'm really good at it. This is really annoying.
So was I. I was able to get all the Batman, DC, LM2, and Disney CMF figures I wanted, plus the "Super Warrior"/Sentai figure from Series 20, with no duplicates or misses. So it's gonna suck if there's singular figures that I want, rather than a good overall series. On the flipside, I haven't seen CMF in stores in years due to the whole COVID thing, so I'm already kind of out as it is.
Please just stay in the bags for just one more series. I have big plans for the next one. Same, I use to feel an entire collection in less than 10 minutes.
Ditto. I have never made a mistake from feeling hundreds upon hundreds of bags. I hate that feeling when you have a skill suddenly made obsolete.
Makes me hope that Lego doesn't screw up the 6 packs from now on. Or the complete obvious, just sell us a complete set and I'll even pay more for it instead of paying someone else to complete a set.
I wouldn't mind a complete set option, but also what about those times when we want to cherry pick or pick up a few duplicates of favorites? I've done all 3 in the past. 2/3 scenarios will now be all but impossible.
