i will be completely honest, i don't need the s1 beast wars cast as is, i just want all of the kingdom beast wars i like only in the colors i like, and funny enough i do like the colors on this tarantulas

 

with this guy and the siege fresions of springer/prowl, we can finally have the whole IDW family together

You’ve got that right. Some serious compromises showing in the budget for the other figures in this wave. Oh well, Tarantulus is the only one I need. I appreciate your sacrifice, Elita, KO, and Wildrider.

 

My only two wishes here is that they also make a transmetal version of him and that the unpainted butt weapon is not necessary for alt mode integrity because it looks like ass

Really, at this point, I expect a third-party guy to pick up the slack.

 

Wasn't planning on getting this. With many BW characters, including Tarantulas, the Transmetal version is my preferance due to the importance of the show. But this does look very good.

 

I said it before and I'll say it again: Tarantulas is basically everything I wanted him to be and I need him ASAP. D:

 

I'm really happy with the one we got, but it would have been fun to get toy/box-art Blackarachnia colors on this mold lol.

Either way I'm very happy to get this one and hopeful we'll get some of the cool redeco potential like the orange version seen in early tv ads, or even the black and grey colors of the Fox Kids redeco of the Transmetal toy.

 

Holy hell! I didn't know I wanted this until you said it but it has officially become the top of my wish list.

He had the best faction-based insult of the entire series. I've lost interest in collecting G1 recently, but looking at more pics and reviews of this guy makes me happy. I so do hope thT the fuzors, Rampage, and Depth Charge are released.

I think Wildrider is pretty Solid, and the jazz mold is really good, so it's good to see it again. Elita has a few things I'd change... So I think Elita took the hit.

Actually Tarantulas is pretty simple, just well colored and painted.

 

Always thought they were counterparts.
