For 2023 i’d love to see Devcon, Slipstream, G1 Sandstorm, BW Depth Charge, and BW Silverbolt.

But if I chose ONE figure as a must have, Please give us More Than Meets The Eye Wheeljack, since we finally got Origins/MTME Bumblebee.

 

He was originally supposed to be in Prime but was replaced with Bulkhead due to Ironhide being killed in Dark of the Moon (stupid reason yes, but that's what's been stated a couple of times) and Prime Ironhide still got toys in the line. The deluxe version was only released here in the states as Kup though and only got a release as Ironhide by Takara.

 

Crazy thought: what if TFP Skyquake is a redeco of SS86 Coronation Starscream? It would fit with the G1-ized Prime designs that Hasbro has been putting into Legacy so far.

Lots of people like different flavors of ice cream, and they're all enjoyable, but Mint Chocolate Chip is the best flavor of ice cream ever; period.

Armada Hot Shot is the best transformer Hasbro ever made.

It would be better for collectors if HasTak made transformers smaller and charged more for them.

Given that he's connective tissue between G1 Bumblebee and his more Hotrod inspired modern interpretations you might well be right.

 

Devcon is long overdue for a Generations figure, in my opinion. Slipstream and the Leader Straxus that was rumored for Legacy this year but never materialized would also be day one purchases for me.

Hmm. I found it via google search. Looks like it was indeed someone's edit. Should have known better than to grab the first image but I haven't seen the model for Ironhide in so long I didn't think too hard about it.   I should have realized it wasn't right when it didn't have the windshield chest now that I'm thinking about it...

 

I had the original Cybertron Megs figure and he transformed pretty much the opposite of Override, legs to rear end/arms up front. The front end of his car mode is just kibble on his back while Override it's her legs. The only thing that's the same in general area in vehicle mode is the driver's seat chest they both have.





Yeah, there's some similar design aesthetics and their car modes are both "Batmobile-ish" but that's like saying you could get Cybertron OP out of G1 Inferno.

 

Yea, soon as I saw it I didn't think it looked right, that Ironhide design is one of my favorites from Prime

A dark green seeker would actually be cool, but it being Skyquake? Not a very good idea

 

Or Cybertron OP out of G1 Magnus, or Armada Megatron out of CW Megs. The more I see this prediction recycled, the more I realize it's based on a deep pessimism that has grown from previous shit retools. The issue isn't that it wouldn't work at all because we all already know that, the issue is that Hasbro has only now started caring and that care will take some getting used to

Yeah, they could maybe homage (key word there, not update) his robot mode while completely sacrificing his car mode, and ditching the jet-mode, but that would look bad even in comparison to the two you mentioned. Not to mention having to upscale it.

Though, I think it will be a while before we see an updated Cybertron Megs.
