It's a shame all of these crossovers are seemingly handled by people other than the main team.

Like, every one of these you can tell that the person involved doesn't usually make transformers. Just, straight from spell checking Magic the Gathering cards to designing a Megatron Hiss Tank.

Honestly, it's how rinky-dink the fusion canon looks that kills it for me.

And yet it's not sold out on Amazon, BBTS, EE, Dorkside, Deep Discount, TF Source, and more, and that's just at MSRP.

    Sadness.

No but seriously, it's a hollow space, you can see the back of the robot torso under the backpack is hollow, the panel only lifts up in vehicle mode to act as the tow hitch.

Kinda love it since it's a solid looking original HISStank.
Megatron looks decent enough, his presence is there.
If i saw this 20+ years ago I'd shat maself.

Baroness will stay on the card. Will prob put CC on Megatron. Or nobody hahaha, kinda stupid in a way.
Megatron would'nt go for that. Like sticking Willow on Vader's back.

I’m not supporting a weak attempt. To do so sends a message that, I personally, am fine with an overpriced mediocre execution. And calling this “mediocre” is being generous. This is essentially a $100 shellformer. I care nothing for the Baroness figure. Giving a multi-billion dollar company my hard earned duckets for something I don’t like is ludicrous. And I don’t like this set because the execution SUCKS. I don’t owe Hasbro a damn thing.

Ditto. The O-ring figures just look terrible in 2022, and it's either a cost control measure or bait for O-ring collectors that they are included here instead of something more modern. I'm trying to figure out what to pair with the Transformers, but it won't be the pack-ins.

I wish they hadn't included her so it would cost 20 less but I could try to sell her and try to recoup some of the cost fo this thing.

This thing looks like a knockoff. I'm sorry, but for the price they're asking I expect a little more effort to cover up some of that hollowness. The alt mode is neat and the headsculpt's good. That's about all I like about this figure. I get it that stuff has to meet a budget, but come on... this is just lazy.

    Exactly my plan.

Honestly, the way carded Baroness in any version holds its value, the Baroness is probably the most valuable part of the set. I dont think weve seen an Oring carded Baroness like that. If all of these crossovers come with a carded figure its WAY more appealing for me. I really thought the Baroness was just in the box in a bag.

Carded, exclusive baroness comes with this? Makes the cost way more explainable for me. Hell, Im sure the packaging done here costs alot these days.

not really. it is still clearly the chest and my complaint of megs should have been done in black would have made the figure as a whole look more cohesive in robot mode

or even better make it soundwave as a non transforming soundwave hisstank exists

of course it sold out on pulse. this is clearly a joe toy first and in that mind set it's a great joe toy just not a great transformers toy as a lot of compromises had to be made to facilitate that functionality

what should not have been compromised is the color layout and deco choices which is what I PERSANALLY have issues with

a hitch peg so it can pull a trailer

I woulda thought I’d be all over this, but 1) it’s crazy expensive for what it is, 2) both Megatron and Bee look cheap, flimsy. Human Alliance had better builds, quality, and was perfectly priced.

I’d be interested if they made Starscream from a Rattler and he came with Destro.

For its flaws, I DO love that this is almost Megatron coming full circle: the original Microchange toy turned into a toy version of a gun (Man From U.N.C.L.E. pellet gun) and now this Megatron turns into a toy version of a tank.

It has its problems (haaaaaate the hollow and light grey plastic dipped in black paint fusion cannon) but I'm still very excited to get mine. It scratches a very specific itch for me.

No you never owe a company anything....my appeal was to former and current Joe fans. And I disagree....this is a good execution based on the budget constraints. Anything more complex would push the cost above $200 US thus making it unfeasible for most people. I am curious as to how you would have preferred this to be executed though.....what were your thoughts?
