Yeah, cause of how little retooling was done, that one always felt like G1 megs cosplaying as Armada imo. So if this guy felt the same way as me, he's also been waiting for 21 years.  

 

Y'know, the inclusions of Shadow Striker, Tarn and Blurr, Scourge, Minerva and Lio Convoy have made me realize that Hasbro has been stunningly efficient in covering TF continuities. There aren't many left.

The only ones I can think of are Energon, Beast Machines, Euro G1, the WFC games, Animated (which is an inevitability), the series that comes after Prime, Beast Wars Uprising...? And Hasbro would be damn silly if they didn't eventually include Lugnut, Thunderclash, Steeljaw, Energon Ironhide (lmao), Strika and Obsidian. They'll be here soon, I'll bet money on it.

 

It was the TF my daughter picked out for me for Christmas, so I will never replace it. He wasn't very accurate, however.

Legacy year 2 is already shaping up to be amazing. Holy balls

 

Unfortunately, not many of these do much for me. Crasher could be cool, I might grab that. Armada Hot Shot might be good, but I feel like I got that out of my system between the original and the Universe version. I don’t hate the idea of core class Dinobots, I’ll wait and see what the execution is like. European G1 Skyquake would have me interested. Not as much interest in an RID Skyquake.

People are saying Crasher will probably be a Mirage retool, but Dragstrip hasn't gotten a retool yet.

No, just no.

Even for its time, this figure was nothing but a dull redeco that misses the point of what makes the original Armada design so special, and by today’s standard this figure is just a terrible representation of Armada Megatron and won’t cut it anymore.

 

I hope it’s the Earthrise Mirage, because that mold has been incredibly difficult to get otherwise.

Armada Megatron is a must grab, I have full faith in them to do him justice this time around. Kind of strange that it doesn't say which universe Hot Shot it is but I'll buy any of them.

 

I do wonder if Tidal Wave will be the 23 Titan.

 

I kinda hope Crasher will be a unique mold, so she can be retooled into Aileron.

 

A Crasher repaint gives me some hope that we might get a Wreck-gar repainted a Cy-kill.
