Finally got official word from hasbro as an instagram story... Wouldve been nice if they talked about it yesterday or even made a post about it.

Just got tickets to see it today at 3. A surprising number of already reserved seats. I thought it would just be a couple other people but there are 20 or 30 seats already bought at my theater

Sitting in the theater right now. I bought our tickets last month so I don't know how many people will be here. There had been some seats already bought, but I'm pretty early, still 20 minutes till start time. In fact the cleaning crew is still in here from the last movie.

Oh Christ…has it been 15 years?? I still remember seeing it the first time at a tiny little theater while working out of town in northwest Ohio. That Bumblebee/Barricade chase scene was ballz!

Few hours away from the screening, gonna have to ask my college coach if I can go. There's literally a cinema half a mile away from where I'm staying so hopefully I can go.

Didn’t expect to get chills from this movie after 15 years, but the autobot arrival/alley scene on the big screen still has its magic! Decent turnout at my screening too, all things considered

My theater forgot to start it, or something. We sat with a black screen for over ten minutes, and then when they did start it, we had about five minutes of the Fathom Events 30-minute countdown screen before somebody skipped it ahead to the behind-the-scenes feature. Was there some kind of toy commercial in there? We only saw a few frames of... something.

Yeah there were commercials for some themed pillows, the Robosen things, that VR game, and the Cyberverse ROTB optimus toy, as well as a buncha Fathom event trailers.

Well it was certainly an experience. It gave me chills multiple times throughout. The visuals and music in the first movie are just incredible, and finally seeing it on the big screen was really fun. Although now I finally understand the complaints, the robot vs robot action was very hard to follow at some points with the shaky cam and crashing back and forth from one side of the giant screen to the other

OK I don't wanna beat a dead horse but I still think they should release all of the first movie characters again. Like a 5 pack of Autobots and 6 pack for Decepticons?

God I loved this! It still holds up very well and was a blast to see! The arrival to Earth scene put a few tears in my eyes, many moments gave me chills, the score was amazing to hear in a theater again, and the "I am Megatron" bit shook the seats a bit which was fucking great. I loved it and it makes me want to see it again on the 14th!

Here is a video review I did on the film if anyone is interested in my more detailed thoughts!
