Trying to get an idea of I need to preorder Skyfire elsewhere because Deep Discount will cancel my pre order.

I'm tempted too. They have great prices on preorders plus 3% Rakuten cash back. I've only ordered in stock figures. BUT, I've heard bad things about them not fulfilling preorders.

Do they charge right away for preorders?

 

I did preorder Skyfire- they did charge me immediately

 

They charge immediately if you use Paypal, but not until your order is in if you use a credit card.

 

I’ve only preordered once from them. On that order I’m 4 for 5 items with the last being SS Sludge which really hasn’t shipped much of anywhere yet.

Also note that I had an issue with Junkheap and they’re sending me a replacement.

 

With it being a year out I dunno if I want to order that from them, most of my preorders have been only a few months. My first order with them was a "special order" and it was cancelled. Then I ordered Earthrise Scorponok and *edit* Sky Lynx and I got both of them and so far I've gotten my legacy and ss86 orders. Just got my shipping email for Blitzwing lol.

I have Skyfire ordered through TheChosenPrime right now.

 

Has anyone seen and correlation between: preordering them with a credit card (payment not going until shipped) vs payment through PayPal (pays them immediately) and them fulfilling your preorder vs them cancelling your preorder?

I have had preorders cancelled before, so this is reassuring.

That's true. They take your money and you have to wait a year for the figure. Meh

Thanks! DEEP10 didn't work for me, said I already used. But Rakuten has 3% cash back. So potentially additional $1.51 back.

 

If deep10 doesn’t work, try Plunge. That one saved me 10% also

Same. No way to cancel. Also its back ordered now.

 

This is getting a package refresh. I can see this figure shelfwarming, maybe not hard, but enough to be “reasonably available “.

For those who ordered Blitzwing yesterday, I can confirm that I just received a shipping notice & CC fully charged.

 

I did but haven't received tracking yet.

 

My Blitzwing preorder shipped! I was worried it wouldn't be fulfilled in favor of the in stock orders from this week.
This is the 3rd preorder I've had fulfilled in the last month, so I'm incredibly pleased (also bc I'm saving an average of $5 - $10 off each figure).
