Hauler wanted to form a Union but is gasping at the other Constructicons being scabs.

 

Although a few people are dismissing the idea, it works for me. And he doesn't have to be a Combiner. Just him and a few other Turbomaster Characters that make up a Autobot faction that's similar in rank as The Wreckers.

 

That is exactly what happened to me about a month ago while I transforming Grapple.

 

Ironically the Constructicons formed their own union without him.

 

I'm in. It'll be nice to have him before the Takara MP Repaint they inevitably fart out instead of addressing the lack of any kind of non-seeker Decepticon.

I actually sort of gave up on Takara ever doing an MP Hauler. The Inferno/Grapple molds were quite a while ago, I think they did Artfire and called it a day. I ended up getting the MMC Ocular Max version of Hauler, because I wanted some representation of him on my MP shelves.

Same goes for Black Diaclone Ironhide… I want him but fear the Takara window has closed.

 

Can I just say it's been an absolute joy watching Hauler ascend from the most obscure depths of the franchise to achieve an unironic cult status that Morbius would be jealous of.

Seemingly overnight.

Sounds like a sane plan to me. I honestly have no idea what Takara is doing. I'm in for Raiden, but it's also the weirdest choice they could have come up with. I don't bother with 3p, so for me, having an MP combiner will be neat but like.....guys.....DEVASTATOR? Hello?

 

They leveraged the MP branding to help compensate for the costs of licensing the 6 trains. He's also a combiner that hasn't had a recent update....so there's a market hungry for him.

I'm looking into MP and 3P options for vehicle scaling purposes.
The WFC Fuso bros seem quite a bit under-scaled.
