I hope that's not a reoccurring problem, since one of the reasons I replaced Sphinx was his ankles doing the same, giving him a permanent lean.

I finally got mine from Omegalock yesterday, and he's good. Feels a little unrefined in spots (the missile launcher in particular feels like a later addition after it was realised that space was otherwise unoccupied- the jointed stick works, but is inelegant. So I've removed it), and the fit of parts is not as secure as I would like, but the key takeaway is that I would have been happy at the original price, so this reduced price (£55 vs £70 after shipping, so a hair over 20% off) is even better.

 

I think the missile launcher folding away is clever, but I don't like it for different reasons. First, Mirage didn't always havea launcher attached and so it should be optional to have it out in bot mode. Second, the missile doesn't fold away with it, so you're still left with an accessory floating around.

I haven't gone as far as removing it, but I have thought about it at times.

 

Yeah, it's not that it's not clever (they did see and utilise that space after all), just a little clunky, particularly with tight joints out of the box. Newage's take on the idea appeals to me a little more, since while it's not as hidden, it does deploy quite well. That, and legends are reasonably held to a different set of standards on the finer points.

At $50 the price is very attractive. Wish all carbots, or at least recolors, were in this range.

 

i wish they blue were a little more clear and that the eyes were painted (i guess i can do that myself) but yeah thats an instant buy. great mold. great homage to his invisibility gimmick. great price. honestly i wish they'd do a toy deco one with a slightly darker toy accurate blue, a different new toy inspired head instead. or a diaclone repaint. still...this will be mine.

 

With the possibility of a reveal for MP Cliffjumper I hope they reissue the normal version soon! Cliff needs his boyfriend to go with him

Only makes sense, there's only so many other bots with them stranded on the Ark. Some of them would naturally develop feelings for one another

And that's despite the presence of Ironhide and Brawn. They are both at their core good Cybertronians, but they do encourage and reenforce a lot of traditional and masculine stereotypes.


Fear of their peer pressure is the reason Trailbreaker never upgrades to a more fuel efficient body.

Looks quite clean..

One big thing quickly noticed.. There is a huge sprewmark on the chest. Must be my badluck. However it is not that clearly visible and if an autobot logo is applied or the 26, then it is gone anyways.

 

Baba has it. I was contemplating getting it from there but remembered I had a copy sitting in storage. A trip to storage unit in the sweltering June heat was no fun but now I have my deskbot.

 

Apparently TR did not provide an instruction booklet for TE-03 Speed Star. This full transformation video should come in handy. Props to Emgo316.
