That'd be perfect given the AM figures all shared basically the same silhouette. Any figure could fit in any shell just by folding up the legs. Have a standard articulation set that includes elbows and more shoulder range, make them roughly Legends sized, and bring back the MASK-style transforming vehicles.

Money on the table, Hasbro. All I'm sayin'.

Well, I'd preordered Wave 4, though I may cancel Starscream if they don't fix his face, or I might just use the toy face, just like I used the toy face with ghost Starscream, cause I really do like that, it's a great look in my opinion.

This will be my very first purchase of a "dead" prime. It looks great, has better elbows, and an opening chest for the matrix, which is what I wanted with the Wave 1 Prime. Oh well, if Super7 puts out a Prime version 2 with all of the upgrades that dead Prime has I'll probably buy it too. I believe that dead Prime has less accessories due to the costs being eaten up by the re-engineering chest to open and house the matrix, the better elbows, plus the moulded damage head and torso. I believe that the rest of the damage is just cosmetic paint, but it could also eat some of the cost as well since it effectively covers over all of the figure, making it almost or 100% covered in paint.

As for Soundwave, damn he looks good. I can't decide what head to give him. And I'm sure that Toyhax will give him stickers to finish those details that are lacking to make him both either toon or toy accurate depending on your tastes. For me I just can't decide which way I'll swing. Maybe I'll just get two so that I can have both versions, unless Toyhax does something crazy and have Marvel comics details as well, then I'll need to get 3... f&@k, did I just convince myself into buying 3 Super7 Ultimates Soundwaves?! :banghead:

Now, this won't be the best advice in the world seeing as these are made to order leading to fewer copies to get your hands on but Super 7 does love an easy repaint and we've already seen Soundwave get a Soundblaster repaint as a reaction and Super Cyborg. And the existence of a marvel comics head leaves the door open for a purple Soundwave Repaint. But at the same that's not a guarantee either.

Only three figures in wave four?

Signs that the line already isn't doing well maybe?

I don't think S7 has ever split up a wave announcement.

It's also worth noting that this wave is 3 A list characters. That is very unusual for S7.

It's not enough go conclude that the line is underperforming, but there are a lot of elements of this wave that does suggest that maybe it's not selling as well as they anticipated.

My tin foil theory is that they’re planning a huge figure like Sgt. Bananas in their TMNT line. One that would cost more than the standard $55, maybe a… Jetfire? Considering the MP just went up for preorder, Super 7 might be waiting to show off yet another Jetfire. Idk, there’s definitely something odd at having 3 figures in their 4th wave.

Yeah, but they've done 'outside the line' figures with other properties, and they've still been in addition to standard 4 figure waves.

There's also the fact that this wave is significantly accessory reduced.

    I think it's noteworthy...but not worth drawing conclusions...yet.

Super7 put up Ultimates Toxic Crusaders yesterday and it's another three figure wave. Two is not a trend, but I wonder if it could shape up to be? Like maybe three figure waves is Super7's new norm with them not wanting customers feeling bogged down with $200+ preorder after $200+ preorder? I hope it's that and not the Transformers brand not doing so well for them. NEED an Ultimates Alpha Trion, Teletraan-1, Autobot Spike, and the throne made up of Autobot parts from the episode "Triple Takeover".

Due to some oddities, the last toy I ordered ended up being the first to arrive.

Bombshell's fun. I'm really happy that he can interact with Needler, although the little dude's pretty expressive on his own thanks to the neck. This is probably going to set me up to be a bit let down by Razor-Sharp when he arrives though.
Articulation's honestly alright, although the shoulders are a real sore point. I was pretty let down at first because I didn't think there was a thigh swivel, but mine was just a little stiff out of the box (and is fine now).

Overall, I still wish these were more articulated (even if it wasn't all the way to revoltech levels), but I'm very happy with the look and feel. I think I'll enjoy Banzai-tron and Bludgeon too when they arrive, although I feel like the articulation limits might hit harder on them as they are a martial artist and swordsman...

I really like Prime. The look is nice but the elbow bend is really bad unfortunately. They apparently fix it on the Dead Prime.

Well, BBTS pushed back Bludgeon until November. Apparently Super7 has a lot of damn tools to review.

Starting to feel more optimistic about the possibility that they’re changing the designs to restrict articulation less. No one is allowed to tell me why I’m wrong.
