Not getting this one but for a moment the thought crossed my mind.

 

I'm stoked for this. I have some vague ambition to put Optimus and Megatron into a shadow box done up like a comic cover but I haven't nailed down how I want to do it. There don't seem to be many Marvel comic covers that feature Op and Megatron and it's difficult to work out any kind of posing that doesn't make the box deeper than it is tall.

 

yeah I’ll probably hold out since I have 3 variations of the mold. But I’d be all in for comic Ymir. Hopefully with a box riffing on MP-08X. Live in a small apartment and comic Megatron is the only box in my collection I’ve kept.

I'm sorry for saying this but I can't stop looking. This image is not flattering for this figure IMO. That Pelvis/upper thigh section does not look good and highlights the diaper thickness and how not great the rotated transition to the thigh looks. It also shows the issues with the lower chest pieces not sitting flush to the window undersides and how much kibble there is in the armpit. It's hard fo rme to see all this and say "that figure looks great". The best thing I can say about it is the finish looks quality.

 

I guess this is the right place to ask this since Newage technically considers him a variant of David, but has anyone gotten Slaughter recently only to find the hook missing? I ordered one from TFSource but had to send him back for a replacement due to said missing hook. However, I got the new one in today and it's missing here too. I'm wondering if either TFSource got a bad batch in or if Newage stopped including it for some reason.

Or third option, I'm extremely unlucky...

 

I got mine from ShowZ and they delayed shipping it because they found out the hook was missing in that batch, they waited for the hook and sent it along in a baggy with the figure.

I think Newage forgot to include it in the reissue but they must have sent some out or maybe ShowZ had to ask for extras? I don’t know, but it seems to be a Newage issue with that release.

 

I bought it at Bombusbee and it arrived without the hook and without the matrix. I am waiting for them.

Not gonna bite with this one, but the box art is brilliant.

 

Wish they hadn't used the same light metallic blue on the tires. True, they used the same blue in the comic but they also added more black when shading them so they came out darker than the rest of him.



Love that they did the sides of his backpack in silver though. That attention to detail is great.
