Who said that there were only three Elite Guard Members? I'm hoping there are more Bots on Magnus' ship.

I was just talking about the three Elite Guard members we know of so far. As far as we know there could very well be many more of them, but as it is, we only know of three. I didn't say they were the only members, just the one's we know about. Ironhide doesn't cout as one, as of yet, as we know almost nothing about him, and the only info we do have on him comes from a small photo. Back on-topic, this is definetly a prototype. This makes me feel confident that Hasbro will more than likely have one on display at Botcon. I'm thinking that the guns could be pulled up higher, but it's hard to tell just from these pictures. They could very well have decided to make them shorter so that they would look better in tank-mode (or something like that).

Not bad! The only thing I think is really missing (and necessary) is the "Arnold tooth gap" on the aggressive face. On a side note, I totally love his multiple personalities. You'd think a Schwarzenegger style personality would get annoying (I like Fairly Odd-Parents a lot, but even Jurgen gets a bit tiresome after a while), but with Blitzwing it doesn't at all.

Here's hoping the rest of Blitzwing ends up being just as good as his head! :)

    Very unlikely.

And I hope this is not the case, because ALL of my transformers that have rubber parts from BW up to Armada, the rubber seems to dry out and rot.

I don't see him having rubber treads at all, his legs fold up inside them or something like that for a start.

Much more likely to have molded tread details on whatever parts would be exposed. they may not necessarily be the SAME molded parts and faux molded (a la BB's chest) to look like they are, but there isn't a chance that transforming Blitzving will require ripping his treads off.

Damn, I was gonna say that (well, not the Fairly OddParents part). Angry Arnold face really needed an expression that showed off his TEEF!

Headshots look great, they really managed to pull it off..which is a relief.

Can't wait to see the rest of him.

I dunno... between the stubby back cannons and lack of helmet detail, I almost wonder if this the Activator version since it has a very small feel to it. I would assume a Voyager would have much better detail & molding on the face and helmet, and the back cannons would be "taller". Either way, I'm not terribly impressed yet. I'll wait for some full figure & size comparison shots before jumping on this "ZOMG!" bandwagon.

I'm with razorchrist in suspecting that it might be an activator, cause the detailing and paint job look alot less in quality than any of the other Voyagers or even deluxes (Face molds arent that great, cannon's look chibi) whereas its the type of detailing you'd expect on the activators.

Course, I'm a huge Blitzwing fan and will buy whatever toys of him are released, just if that's meant to be the Voyager/Deluxe toy then I'm kinda dissapointed.
