Well if you’re going for an MP shelf & money is an issue, there’s a KO of the latest Starscream, MP Soundwave & a few KO. Versions of KO MP Megatron.

And just because you only get 3 this year, doesn’t mean that you can’t add 1-2 every year following.

Jinbao Warbotron - great set, however it is at the 45cm scale. Too big for CHUG, noticeably smaller than other 50cm MP scale combiners. If you ever plan to have a full collection of combiners, I don't suggest going into the 45cm bots as you will be limited to the JuJiang Jet Commander (Superion), the Jinbao Predaking, WeiJiang Predaking and Jinbao Devastator with no signs of anyone else going for this size.

Open & Play Big Spring - great figure, but the face is off-putting for some due to the 'roundness'. It was re-released as AirWolf with a better face sculpt. The figure itself is a great representation of Springer that wouldn't look out of place in a MP collection, and fun to play with.

ArchEnemy - another solid figure. Bought it at USD 85 shipped during a FH summer sale. You have to look in the secondary markets for the trailer, as it has been marked sold out in FH's website for ages.

In case you're interested, I found these that are amazingly good as energon cubes at the size of large dice (purple)

If you prefer smaller (which also worked for me) - (Rose)

I actually have all of these and the "smaller" figures are voyager size and the core are leader, and due to the fact that they tend to be vehicles that would be larger than the usual deluxe cars (for example), I find that they absolutely fit in. There's also the couple of Dinobots (Volcanicus) sets that are also the same "titan" size, and some other "oversized" (such as abominus) that do fit... it's just a matter of perception... I found (for example) that CW Superion was absolutely too small and makes no sense to have planes (that should be the same as seekers for example) to be so small.

So my vote is for Jinbao Warbatron as for the price, you get 5 excellent figures of quality plastic 4 Voyager and 1 leader sized.

    Yeah... this is...weird.

Why isn't it an option to expand as time goes on? Anyway, yes, KO MP Starscream.

Legends 3rd Party TF's are cool! And they get better and better with every release. But the price to size ratio is so far off, they're not worth the price of admission. $50+ for a dinky-sized piece of plastic? Really? No, as much as I like them I prefer to feel like I got something substantial and my money's worth.

Fans Hobby Arch Enemy all the way. I have one and the G2 Laser Prime repaint. One heck of a nice big, beefy bad robot with extreme presence on the shelf. Speaking for myself only, he's worth every penny I spent on him.
