I would say that was Cubist, but that may be alt-modist nowadays, given how Walkmans are square. :)

PS - Picnic Dinobot injects optimism! I vote for Yogi!

I also want Beastformers of all of these.

So, I’ve shifted one of my expensive books on eBay, finally, and am looking at getting an airbrush and compressor set and also a 3D printer.

I’m pretty much only going to be printing Transformers and action figure parts and accessories - new heads, faces, body parts and accessories, nothing larger than 1/12 scale - and my main three criteria are quality and clarity of print and price of the printer.

I’m leaning toward going for a resin printer due to the quality and clarity and wondered if any of you lot had any particular recommendations?

£250 is the most I can afford to spend but, obvs, if a cheaper one will do the job then that’s all fine :D

I’m also wondering, if I do get a resin printer, is it a good idea to get a curing chamber thing too?

I don't think anyone finds them cheap. I like to say things like "oh, you get what you pay for" and "you pay for quality", but even on the ones I've absolutely adored, they're definitely still too expensive and honestly, only just really worth the money. But it's become a game of preorder them and suck it up, or it's only going to get more expensive.

**clicks "like" on more of O-tron's books, it seems to be working out so far**

Third pic. I dig it! Sorry, bit behind atm! But it has the nice air of sinister claustrophobia, as one might feel if stuck in a hard vacuum room with our despot and his Velocimandem.

Indeed... I just wish there was a distributor over here that wasn't only selling import stock which always makes the pries higher... as for pre-ordering, I don't even know where to look for pre-orders, or even where to keep up with releases :( .

I'm not going to lie, Kapow seemingly not sticking them anymore has hurt. I've used Robot Kingdom a fair amount, shipping is not too bad if you buy multiple items.

My memory of the Spacebridge stall was that it was one of those nirvanas where they had vast tubs of treasure buried in a thick layer of Bayverse Bumblebees. Some of my favourite TFN memories was pawing through that stuff. I wasn't really aware they even had a table of parts.

From the sound of things the ToyFu table is going to be something special once again. I am hype.

Find myself strangely invested in the saga of these old expensive tomes. Did you get a price you were happy with? Is the buyer planning to resale? A collector who may grab the rest? I gotta know!

Still waiting for the other shoe to drop about what data Dall.E is harvesting as people gleefully feed it, besides the fact that it is basically mechanised plagiarism generating images aggregated from others it has scanned. At the very least folks are aiding in the creation of an AI Hack Artist. Come on, people, Greg Land is already bad enough! :p

My Wife has just ordered a resin 3d printer - apparently some are on sale on amazon that she fancied, maybe worth a look. She's planning for BJD stuff but I'm sure it'll come in handy for other things.
