Just received my Kap from BBTS. Wow. Strong contender for my toy of the year. And I have no connection to the fiction at all.

I espescially like how they have the gun slot into his hand. That was about my only complaint with Ace Hitter.

 

I know others have said it, but every one of these three molds has improved on the previous one. It's a bit of a shame that Nightbeat ended up the worst mold whereas the one with the least character (at least in the US) has the best mold. Hey ho, I still think he's great.

The only thing that I'm missing is that I don't believe he has weapon storage in robot mode, unlike the other two. Unless it's just been missed off of the instructions?

 

Kap's gun is stored in the back of the alt mode under the ladder

Normally I view it as a "nice to have", but it's an odd omission when the others have places to store their weapons in robot mode. (Also it would be nice if his gun sat just a little bit lower in his hands. Might try and shave the top of the rail in the hand to see if that helps)

Two questions,

Why does the neck socket have a spring in it?

Is there an optimal way to situate the headmaster? One of my ears has a small stress mark after only having him for one day and I want to make sure I don't exacerbate the issue.

 

Can anyone share any pics comparing Fans Hobby's little headmaster head-bots with Hasbro's little titanmaster head-bots? I get the impression that Hasbro's are smaller, but I can't tell by how much. Thanx!
