You know what this Bee is missing? A War-Hammer.

 

While I do wish it was Hound as a VAMP instead, this Bee looks quite nice! The alternate mode is very cool! I will wait for a review to see if I really want him or not, but for now I'll just say he looks great!

 

Human alliance Galvatron would have been cool.

The only thing I want from this set is the stalker. He was my first Joe back in 82. If anyone doesn’t want him I will be happy to take him off your hands.

He kinda reminds me of those transformers costumes kids wear that are made of cardboard boxes.

 

This looks a lot better than HISS Megatron.

The lower price is also more palatable.

 

There have been a million retro Stalkers on clearance at Wal-Mart recently. Why didn't you pick one up? They are probably putting all the extra's in this set to get rid of them.

 

This. Absolutely this. Retooled, and possibly scaled down a bit as it doesn't need to accommodate a 3.75" figure, and come with his Targetmaster partner.

Looks better than megatron mainly because it doesnt look like its his g1 design wearing awe striker parts like megatron. I dont think im gonna get this or megatron either, im just not a fan of orings and they are really expensive. Im definitely thinking about cancelling my megatron order.

 

I hope Warpath get's made into a GI Joe Tank if this series continues.

I'm glad this has it's fans. While I like the idea the execution just is lacking for me I don't know if it's BB's face or the torso being wider then it is taller. Over all I get the feeling this was meant to be some one else like Beach Comber what with those legs and the shoulder wheels etc. I guess some brand manager though BC didn't have the brand power and they pivoted to Bumblebee.

 

I don't think "refreshed" is a good indicator of popularity in 1980's transformers marketing. Plenty of characters were used and reused, repainted etc. "One of the first" is especially irrelevant in this context.

Also, your logic on the first episode is completely flawed. Why isn't Wheeljack the hyper popular character that you're making Bumblebee out to be?

DC = Superman

Transformers = Bumblebee??

 

I hate this so much, I cancelled my Megatron PO.

(Which I was probably going to do anyway, but this motivated me.)

 

Considering the latest skystriker had to be crowdfunded i definitely dont see them making a new one nonetheless one that transforms which would have more than double parts count.
