Judging by the holy scale chart Swoop should be a big Voyager so he'll probably include some extra bits in the box to pad out the Leader price point.

 

I'm asking because I've had Grimlock for a long time without the other Dinobots. I ordered Slug since last year for an in store pick up. But it's been sitting at that same store for months. I just never got the chance to pick it up because I need to take a train to that store and lately there's been lots of crime at the train stations and in the vehicle itself. But just today, I found another store that had Sludge in stock. So I just placed an order for it. Now I Definately have to take train to other store to pick up Slug.

 

I could use me some sludge right now. It's been over a month since I bought a transformer. I'm having withdrawals.. seriously... Me soooo board.

 

One of the leakers on this board has already seen Swoop (or at least the renders / plans for him), so we know he’s coming. He was swapped around with coronation Starscream, so I believe they’re adding more to him. As @Fenrys states above we’ve had bots in Studio Series that weren’t even in the Movie, and if you look at the mini figures that came with the ‘Behold, Galvatron’ Unicron DLC pack there was one of Snarl there, so clearly Hasbro view him as part of it.

Exactly, and I think he’ll have the missing swords / weapons from the other Dinobots as part of the set.

 

Plus being leader class allows having a decent wingspan. Swoop's torso should be a step below the other Dinobots in mass, but having nice foldable wings will eat up a good amount of budget. So that works out.

Personaly I think he should be voyager size, but maybe he’ll be a big voyager priced at leader with accessories ? In an ideal world, he’d come with all the swords.

As for Snarl, I’m certain he’ll come, whether in SS86 or in Legacy. That would just be such a massive kick in the balls if he was left out and they just do 4/5 of the team. Anyway, technically he does appear in the movie, we’ve had stranger cases in studio series.

I’m a little lost with the studio series wave composition. Do we even know if Swoop is coming soon or in which wave ? It took a whole year between Slag and Sludge, I’m afraid it will be a while for Swoop.

Is it just me or does Legacy Galvatron seem to fit right in with the Studio Series figures?

 

No, Hasbro’s bullshit Bait & Switch shenanigans have been noted with the SS’86 and Buzzworthy Bumblebee releases of Cliffjumper and Kup as well. They’ll probably do a clean Springer eventually too. I won’t touch any of them, I’m sick of this shit.

 

  Kingdom/Legacy Galvatron is a perfect fit with SS86 figures.
