The MP series is way out of my budget but I still love to look at all the amazing pics of them and wonder at their engineering, so I'm excited to see more pics of this for it's official reveal

I think they are pricing themselves out KNOWING that KO companies will get this and make it for half the price or less.

 

Lol definitely not getting rid of Phoenix for Daca Toys Kronos 2.0 but I’ll pick up the inevitable Ko and keep it in Alt. Mode.

 

Question...since there is no licensing fee for TT when making Jetfire/Skyfire like making a car etc...would that make tje price point lower.?..Is licensing fees a factor??

Oh man he looks amazing. He’s huge and probably expensive to boot but I can’t wait for this reveal. One of my most wanted MPs since the beginning of the line.

That looks great. I think this one will really come down to price. If anything, hopefully this frees up a little supply of the Siege guy from folks that are looking to sell and upgrade to MP.

 

Still no Galvatron?!?! C\'mon! We need a G1 AND a Beast Wars 2 Galvatron to oppose LioConvoy!! That said I\'ll buy 2 of Skyfire   

 

I'm reading some people are expecting this to be in the 300 to 400 USD range. I know there are some tricks to get this way cheaper on Amazon Japan and stuff like that, but considering the MSRP prices for MP-43 Megatron (Beast Wars) and MP-44 Convoy (Ver 3.0), I honestly can't see this much bigger Skyfire's official announcement price to be any lower than 500 USD. I know Convoy's trailer factors into the price on that one, but let's wait and see.

Welp time to see how absurdly priced he is 

 

I love my siege Skyfire. I quit buying MP since the way-too-toon-accurate aesthetic got into the line. The mass retail WfC style designs are what I'm after. But I get why TT chased after the toon-accurate crowd for MP2.0s.

Anyway, I came here to see where this MP does better than Siege's. Looking at the albeit tiny image, I don't see this MP Skyfire is doing much better than Siege Skyfire in term of articulation. The proportion is G1, but less "heroic." Got more accessories and the flight stand is sweeeeeeeeet. But overall, even if it's cheap -- like "Titan Class" price cheap -- this doesn't get me excited.

Just goes to show how underappreciated Siege Skyfire is. The price, size, accessories and play value he packed are just tops.

Maybe I'm biased, as I'm still just too happy with my Siege Skyfire, especially after I modded it (see: Minor/Repaint: - Siege Jetfire - Better accessories configuration in plane mode ) to cover up the undercarriage in alt mode. Something which I hope the MP version will rectify.
