    I have a few questions;

    1. Does anyone have a film version of Scourge on sale? I'm hoping to get a version that stands out among the other 2 sweeps I'm hoping to get in the future and close to the movie colors as possible.

    2. Does anyone have a problem with the scale? He looks to be bigger than most MP Autobots, but him being smaller than Cyclonus and Galvatron is weird. Was he always that small to them in the '86 film?

    3. What's a good display stand? My plan is to have them in a mid air pose as to stand out from the Unicron heralds.

    A few answers, might be of help.
    1. Currently there's only XTB with an MP scouge on the market. They have 2 versions, the original with tricky ankle transformation and a later metallic (ish) version with slightly less tricky ankle transformation. FT have one planned but this could be a few years out before we get a release. So 3 different versions of the same character in the near future.
    2. Scale seems ok to, but your opinion may vary, see picture below for sizing of the 3 baddies from S3.
    3. The XTB and FT have stand options. XTB comes with a stand in the box but not sure it'd suit what you're after pose wise. It's more for the space boat mode. FT do a stand but it's universally crap on all their figures. Sorry not much help on this one. Maybe 3D printing? DSC_0155.JPG

    See also: Andras with their Cyclonus and upcoming Galvatron. The heights may fit closer there, perhaps?

    This certainly helped. My only concern is a proper stand for mid air stuff. I think the bandai ones are universal, but I never tried it with the other Masterpiece figures I have on display.

    Plus I'm not too concerned about doing a vehicle mode for the original scourge figure, only that he stood out among his sweeps without having to do modifications or applying a paint coat.

    I do hope their Galvatron comes out soon; I'm hoping to have a decent '86 generation display at some point.

    I decided that Scourge needed real optics (Ironic considering his actions against Metroplex and Trypticon...Starscreams control not withstanding)

    Just the eyes. I'm not a fan of light piping or LED's on Masterpiece figs.

    I was unaware that X-Trans did more than one version of him.

    Shame, I would like one, I bought a metallic Andras not too long ago and this is a great way to display him.

    Certainly would not compare to a nice custom stand. I just tested it out on some tamashii stands, and his butthole isn't deep enough (ha) to support him, and the back hole doesn't have anything to latch onto, so you couldn't have him straight up or forward... and he's also probably too heavy for the little plastic teeth to hold for any period of time. I think my memory was mixing the old MP seeker stand/peg configuration and applying it to Andras.

    I painted the eyes red on mine with a red sharpie marker. I put a piece of tin foil to prevent the LED light from escaping out of the jaw and forcing it through the eyes even stronger. The light is still visible thru the eyes with the paint. I saw this trick demonstrated on @Vangelus Youtube video review of Andras a few years back. I posted the video on this thread back then.
