Wait a moment, if Sari come from reverse enginiring Transformers technology (like a lot of fan seems to assume) and if Sumdac is her father (by adoption and by creating her), does that leave the place for the mother to... Megatron? (seeing that cybertronian technology earth-creation come from Megatron)?

I said it first in the thread for "Megatron Rising Part 2" before it became a common belief (check the date/time stamps if you wish).

Sari is a spark. When Megatron told Sumdac that he knew nothing of the "spark", I believe Megs underestimated Sumdac's intelligence and the actual 50 years of working with his technology.

I believe by the end of this season -- most likely with the episode "Sari, Nobody's Home" -- we will know what is going on with her.

Let's hope that she doesn't go Super Saiyen and bring all of the "spark" pieces to her in a manner like electro-magnetic attraction. This has been done to death in other series already.

I don't believe Sari is a "Spark". Far as we know, she is entirely human and I would think having a spark would give her Cybertronian features. She does have a connection to the AllSpark as seen in Megatron Rising, Part 2. When asked why it chose her, it showed her the image of a DNA strand.

I'm thinking the concept of experimentation creating human life may be a little over the top for a kids-aimed cartoon show. Yet I could be wrong. We'll have to wait and see. :)

Me and a buddy of mine came with with an idea- Sari was harmed in the past in some way, and whatever caused her to be harmed killed her mother and gave her amnesia. To save her life, her father outfitted her with cybernetic enhancements that drew the allspark to her.

It bothers me to know Sumdac could be anywhere from 60 to 70, and Sari is only 7 or 8 years old.

That already made me suspicious even before any hint of Sari not being a normal human, whether literally or metaphorically.

    My take on father/son/daughter-deal:

Sari literally is the brainchild of Megs, like Athena is the brainchild of Zeus.
Megs cheated death by transferring his life-force into one of Sumdacs experimental entertainment Fembots. Regrettably, Sumdacs robot couldn't process the immensity which is Megatron, the result was a childlike Fembot. The Fembot/Sari still possesses the original life-force of Megatron. Sari actually is a downgraded version of Megatron, in which case the current Megatron is just a copy/clone.

Btw: Although I think it's implausible Sari is Arcee, anagram-wise it sorta makes sense: ARSI.

Also, I heavily doubt that Sumdac could get laid, unless by a gold digger.

Personally I think she's Sumdacs First attempt at using raw Cybertronian nano tech, But infected it with some of his DNA (in Sumdac's usual screwing up fashion) and Sari was grow, ala from fetus, and was born from a nanoTech "egg/pod" as a baby. Probably has a mild cybertronian signature hence why the Allspark reacts to her. This works well to with the fact that she a girl, being that females are the predasessor geneticaly (remember we start out girly while in development) Making Sari a perfectly created human (Genetically).

We do remember this is one of the writers from Beast Machines, right? :)  ;)

She has got to be part spark, part human. If she is a piece of Megatron, this would be a shock while at the same time a repeat of Star Wars (as previously mentioned by other posters).

The seeds of the future are buried in the past. Or its DNA. ;)

XD I'm getting flashbacks to a joke from insecticons.com. If you don't get it, go read "the other chosen one" here http://www.insecticons.com/insecticomics/v3/258.html if the pages are working that is

When the truth finally comes out i hope someone makes a joke about 'Mommy Megatron'. Anyway, I like the idea that Sari might have gotten injured and Sumdac used Cybertronian Technology to save her. But i'm still kinda wraping my head around Sari being born an artificial human...

Maybe she's like Savage Noble from Beast Machines. Savage Noble was a "purely organic" transformer (though technically he was a living beast mode).

Same here, on both counts. The idea that she may not be human is somehow disappointing to me. It just seems too farfetched.

The explaination may be much simplier too. She could be the daughter of another couple and Sumdac took her in when something happened to them. Hence she would not have been born "Sumdac", but under another surname. And her genetic connection to the AllSpark may have come from exposure to Sumdac's experiments.

you might be on to something maybe she was around the megatron head and machinary for so long she might have absorbed some of the allspark power into her
