Hope a Third Party makes feet that make her taller now.

 

Unfortunately, like a lot of figures, her feet transform in a way that their bases face inwards. Extensions would have to be partsforming, and while some might be okay with it, I'd be out.

 

If the feet are not connected by pins then they can be easily replaced.

I meant feet that make her taller, not make the feet themselves bigger length-wise.

 

So, in Elita's case, the feet fold around 180 degrees. The bottoms of the feet are flush against the back of the car once that transformation step is done. Therefore, there would be no room for the extension or larger feet if you replaced them. You'd have to extend the ankle hinge they're attached to in order to make more room, and I'm sure that's molded directly into part of the leg.

 

Generally not been interested in any of the fembots that I've seen since I started collecting 4 years ago until now. I own the ER Arcee mold because it is Arcee and I believed it was the best rendition at the time, but I was never really satisfied. The 86 version coming out seems to rectify most of my issues. Regardless of that, this Elita-1 is by far and away the best looking fembot ever produced by Hasbro imo.

 

This Elita is preordered, but I am fluctuating up and down about wanting her and she is less appealing than ever in recent photos.

Minerva is a highly coveted figure and I've been waiting for years, but yeesh - this alt mode is a complete mess - and I seriously doubt any amount of paint can turn that around for the better. I hope I am wrong.

 

I'm just turning mine into Ariel. Actual Elita will be something else. Coz I still really really like this figure from what I've seen, but the size, in light of Override's existence (would still be the same even if she wasn't leaked), means there were better options for her than the Minerva mold.

 

Outside of the usual complaint from me for these figures shrinking faster than Ant-man…

This honestly looks like a pretty cool figure. The cars a bit stubby looking but she doesn’t have a horrible backpack, uses the vehicle parts for bot mode, and maintains the silhouette. Might need to pick this up.

 

Does this work as a minor repaint + headswap?

Oh, I like the position of the back kibble. Less obviously Minerva, and also pretty clean. Nice!
