This figure has previously been revealed, but this is our first time seeing the packaging. Since Rise of the beast has been delayed, hasbro has decided to package some of the upcoming figures for the movie in Cyberverse packaging to release this 3rd/4th quarter.

Nice, now I wonder how long till the other ROTB Cyberverse figures that we know are being imported or are in the US and possibly at a Hasbro's warehouse will be revealed?

 

I’m very interested to see how smooth this gimmick will be.

 

I wonder what the boxart for toys like Mirage or the Maximals (except Cheetor) will be like, as they never appeared in Cyberverse.

 

Scourge and Wheeljack as well. Maybe it'll just be this image of Optimus still.

Oh yes lol, what I meant to say was that Wheeljack in ROTB is gonna look different than CV Wheeljack cause of the alt mode but they'd probably still use the CV WJ design.

 

Well ROTB Prime looks different when compared to Cyberverse Prime. So its a safe bet that WJ will have his Cyberverse counterpart on the boxart.

 

Probably. Now like you said Scourge, Primal and the others (minus Cheetor) will be interesting. Will they use the same CV Prime render or something else? Probably the CV Prime render.

 

I mean, I know we all know the backstory of this likely being an ROTB toy that they didn't want to delay any longer so they wouldn't have a dent in sales...

but the juxtaposition of the ROTB design with the Cyberverse box art makes this look like such a chinese bootleg

Things are so bizarre here at times, why would we question whether this is Rise of the Beasts or not? It's obvious it is. It's another poorly coordinated movie mess, there isn't any point in pretending it's not because it's not going to go away.

 

Damn, that SUCKS both for them and for us. Cause if they had just waited a week or didn’t delay the film we would have maybe saw them. But way more for them.
