Unfortunately they used the same Raiden image that we've already seen. If they'd used another one, we might have a better idea if the proportions are really going to be like that or it it was due to perspective/camera angle.

From that image of the team, Seizan, Yukikaze and Suiken's silhouettes look good. Kaen looks kind of janky but I think we've been expecting.

Ooooh interesting! But I feel they could show us soooo much more!!

Getting excited about Shouki dropping! Sadly I didn't get time to make a transformation animation of my Shouki model, so best I can do is some snapshots to show how I think he is engineered. I think it's gonna be a nice fun transformation, not too complicated, fiddly or overly panelly. Not exploding into a floppy mess with the possible exception of the 'must not partsform!' linkage of the train cab!

    You absolute mad lad!
Looks like it'll be a fun toy for sure! So excited to see some in-hand reviews.
Can't wait to see more about the combined mode either. Hopefully the Generations book will give us a better look.

Yeah hoping for more from Generations or Figure King!

Looking like an interesting bunch I can say! I feel we can see the struggles of sticking to the real world relative train scales. Those arm guys are also pretty large trains, so they struggle to get slender bots like Getsuei being only as tall as the others - they look a bit bulky. On the other side I think we maybe see the struggle of getting Kaen tiny-train into a bulky bot, although at least he seems to have his big backpack.

I found this image. If you compare the legs, hands and heads and keep them with the same dimensions (except Shouki carpenter hands), it seems that Kaen is really the shortest one of the group.

I wish I could visualize how big these guys are gonna be compared to CHUG figures. I don’t collect MP anyone, but I’d love to have Trainbots for my CHUG collection.

If you love the MOON trainbots scale, taller than OP, i'ld say go for MP Raiden. Components are in correct MP scale, 18 cm each one, but combiner could be around 34-35 cm.

Hmmm that's an interesting take on it, I suppose! :)  I always interpreted it as Kaen same height but wider and bulky. They dont seem to be depicted that way in the cartoon, and the toys it's the other way around - Kaen is huge. Will be interesting to see what TT have done. From that interview I'm expecting same head heights for the bots and for Kaen to look like he's been on a diet! :)

At deluxe scale/price I'd pick these up in an instant. At voyager I'd have to see reviews, but it'd be a very strong "maybe".

.....At over $140 each for 6 figures the complete combiner costs well above Haslab Unicron....

I do hope for everyone supporting this that 1) the quality is worth the price and 2) they get around to completing the set...

i don't care much for raiden. i will say in pure asthetics i like this over moon studios one. but it's barely winning with that train kibble. given how long just raiden is taking to finish, i think it'll actually be 2024-5 or so before we get other combiners.

    Nice.

There's a small step that I didn't catch in there. Shouki's backpack thrusters rotate out. TakaraTomy went the extra mile to include them to match the line art.

Wow cool! There's a few little things the figure does that I couldn't be arsed to model, but those I never even noticed! Or I did once and totally forgot about. Nice spot..

Kind of sloppy from TakaraTomy. Yukikaze is a 200 series Shinkansen (200系) not a 100 series (100系). :p

Yeah correct! From the silhouette it looks like he is a 200, so I'm going for typo rather than they actually made the figure the wrong train! :)

The "100" caught my eye too, but it was too soon after waking up for me to fully process if that was wrong or not. (surely I'm not the only one here who checks TFW first thing after waking up)

Looking at Kaen's image, I'm a little worried he might end up like ROTF Reedman.

Stretched out to be the same height as the other Trainbots but lacking in mass when viewed from the side.

A pity that the member needing the most bulk has the smallest real world alt mode.

Looks really good for the first Figure.
    Better than Moon Studio.
Moon Studio Raiden is TO MUCH G1.
    All these Blocky Limbs.
MP is a little bit better.

But I will wait for the REAL Modernized Magic that TFC, Cang Toys or Dream Star Toys can do.

An 3rd Party Modernized non G1 Raiden is inevitable at this Point - but still far ahead in the Future
