I had a dream about that months ago, how funny.

 

I just realized Spud Muffin is designed to look like Megatron.

 

The previews didn’t impress me in the least, but judging by the consensus here- I’m going to have to give it a look. It can’t be worse than the Netflix show at least.

 

Spoiler: Botbots Villain!

I've seen some fans say Spud Muffin is like Sentinel from Animated, I have issues with that, yes Sentinel is a jerk but he never did anything down right evil like Spud Muffin did. Because Spud Muffin tried to get rid of Burgertron, he tried frame him for murder, he free Dave to try and make Burgertron look bad, and he rigged a game to try banish the Lost Bots, Sentinel in Animated never did anything like that yeah he let Optimus take the blame for what happened with Elita but Optimus let that happen because he was the one in charge. It's bad when I have to defend Animated Sentinel.

 

Sums it up really. There's absolutely no harm in watching an episode or three.

I wonder if they put all of the animal looking BotBots on the Pet Mob in the show universe? Also I mean their alt mode is animal looking not the robot mode.

 

This show is really charming and genuinely witty. It’s harmless at its worst and hilarious at its best. I recommend it if you’re an open-minded Transformers fan who wants a quick laugh.

But seriously, it does already look better than the other show that's going to be coming out. I still do wish they eventually do an adult version like Sausage Party because they got the perfect premise for some good adult bullshittery, but I won't completely diss a breath of fresh air in what has been a lot of repetitive media.

 

I hope Hasbro does what they did with the last two Rescue Bots series, where there's a boxset of the main cast that's just consistently available. (A new price point that would allow for animation-accurate figures would be nice too, but I guess that depends on how well the show is received.)

 

This is the best effort at diversifying the brand in forever. Good work.

 

I actually enjoyed the first couple episodes I've seen so far. Shame the toyline has that random pack nonsense, otherwise this show would've inspired me to pick some of these up.

• Is Burgertron going to become to new leader of all BotBots?

• When will Ulf become more likeable?
