Yesterday was my 25th birthday (Australian Eastern Standard Time) and finally after 21 long years ever since I always want to get this but couldn't. It finally arrived in the mail just in time!!!! I am so happy!!! Car robot/RID was my first ever introduction to Transformers and remember seeing God Fire Convoy/Omega Prime, I just fell in love with the character.

@Tony_Bacala Cheers for the article you made back in 2018 with the photo sets and the link to TFSource, I managed to got the last copy.

 

Congrats! After selling my Car Robots off a long while ago, I just recently reacquired this fellow too, haven't opened him yet, but looking forward to it. Happy Birthday, and post some pics once you get him outta the box!!

 

Finally unboxed mine, God Fire Convoy looks so amazing!!! 20 plus years later, I've finally owned this amazing figure and luckily my copy doesn't have any major QC issues!!!.

I know it’s too late but I’m posting this anyway.

 

TO be honest, I forgot to share it too. It would be interesting to read the feedback of hardcore RID fans.

 

Personally, I think it looks great considering all the new budget limitations which include paint apps. Not bad, but I think many of us were expecting a closer approach to the original deco considering they even put the Combatron insignias and use the Japanese original name.

 

Remind me why Black Convoy call himself the Flower of evil.

 

Huge disappointment. I was hoping for a good Scourge, not Just Another Nemesis Prime. It's gone from a must buy to hard pass.

 

He didn’t. Black Convoy said he was going to bloom the flower of evil, a poetic way of saying he’s here to spread evil and kick butt.

 

What if the combaticons are as toy accurate as the Combatron in CR.

 

I'd have a lot less dislike for Sunbow style, probably. And the Combaticons would have actually looked cool.
