Blew through my figure budget for the month in about 2 days but I don't care cause honestly online shopping helps me relax at times and still within budget so with all the stress that's been going on for my Family looking forward to 12 Star Wars Figures, Legacy Optimus Prime, and 2 figures for the Anime Collection Inuyasha and Sesshomaru -two old favorites of mine that got released into the Pop Up Parade line that's fairly easy on the budget so overall this month don't care about not splurging at all just got what I wanted and the heck with it. What's the thing you folks say? YOLO? Good thing about getting an Inuyasha figure is that it'll make me laugh looking at it since that's one thing that I always loved about that series....SIT BOY!
My Father is getting moved out of the ICU to a regular Hospital Room tomorrow, he's been improving after Dialysis so I'm glad about that! Been a rough week glad to finish the week with this news.
Was invited to a barbecue this weekend but was able to cancel. As a low-energy introvert it always feels like a victory to be able to get out of social responsibilities and just be by myself instead. So yay for having the day to myself to rest.
Hehe I guess the two things aren’t really related I’m always super fatigued, so I gotta conserve energy where I can so I can deal with the day-to-day. Being around people costs tons of energy so I try to avoid it where possible nowadays. Gotta choose me
@lord ginrai well I actually looked it up and it is a thing, But yeah, people don't think I'm an introvert because of the way I act in public or with the public...but I don't do social events and to me there really isn't a thing called "social responsibilities" I focus on family and work/finances. I don't go out and socialize.
Well whatta ya know! Guess I can use the label then Same here. I’m great at acting socially and people wouldn’t know I was an introvert. I suppose social responsibility is a bit of a misnomer. Anyway, good on you for focusing on what is important
I am such an extreme introvert, one of my cousins (who was super young at the time) thought I was mute.
My Father is getting better since he's back to his arguing self with my Mother over how to pay a bill so at least he'll be out of the ICU then they will get him some Rehab/Physical Therapy and with things as they are I'm glad I have started to withdraw from collecting figures since Finances as they are will start to get either tight or it'll be at a point where one can no longer indulge that much in the Collecting Hobby and it doesn't bother me that much because I've gotten so much of what I want for the collection that honestly don't need much of anything else added to it so feels good to have seen the winds shifting so to speak earlier in the year and being prepared ahead of time before things get to this point so I'm glad to not be drowning in pre-orders that have to be paid or dealing with having long lists of figures to get for the collection. Thank goodness for having little or no space for new things to motivate me to NOT get figures. -Plus the price increases on figures made me rethink getting more so all things considered I'm in the best position with things now and my monthly budgets are set so the less that is spent on the hobby more banked. So I'd say that's a very positive thing to see during this stressful time.
Now that they have moved my Father has been moved out of the ICU to a regular Hospital room I can relax more! It was a rough week last week with him getting hospitalized on Wednesday in Critical Condition so he's improved a lot and he's now on dialysis so he'll go to Rehab after this so I can rest easy too not having to deal with him being home all the time driving me and my mother crazy. Plus his Insurance will cover a lot of this so we won't be crushed under Medical Debt so that's a BIG plus. Feels good to know he's getting the care he needs and will get healthier instead of being stuck here at home being at risk of falling and just sitting in a chair in front of the TV with declining health.
Been feeling negative the past month. So I want 5o go back to looking forward to the future. So I'm back to planning my next trip to Disneyland.
Getting 2 packages in today and that will be the last of it till next month! Feels good to have gotten everything in this month and now don't have to wait for anything else in the mail and with a lot marked off the To Get List next month will finish up collecting one or two figure series I collect so that's made me very positive. -Commander Gree and The Gi Joe Classified Alley Viper coming today so happy about that. Also getting out of the house to go to the Casino today and I need that trip out since I've been mentally drained lately so getting out to have some Fun using just $50 for Gambling at 2 Casinos playing the Slots that works out well since that was how I started with Gambling at the Casino a few years ago and that makes me feel good about going and not feeling like I'll loose a lot when taking a smaller amount.
Looking forward into the future now. Since this year started I had gone through hell in my personal relationships but that is all over with and done and I am ready to look forward onto better things.
Looks like my Father may be home from the Hospital soon since they couldn't get him a Rehab room but I'll be happy for him to be out of that place since from what I'm hearing the quality of care he's getting is terrible after he left the ICU so hopefully he'll be home before the end of the month just means I won't be able to go out that much now and I'm glad I'll meet some of my Relatives tomorrow for Lunch so looking forward to that.
Finding myself LAUGHING and laughing Loudly now that I think more about how I managed to get one site so pissed off at me they ended up bullying me off that site and the reason is essentially I was doing my thing and doing it the way I do and it's something that's making me feel pretty positive right now cause I honestly have to wonder what messed folks up so badly they had to be that way and feels like it's one of those things where one can laugh so loudly thinking about it that it's enough to make your sides hurt and laugh the way J Jonah Jameson laughed at Peter Parker when it pops up in your mind cause this would normally just piss me off thinking about that shitty site but now it makes me laugh. The internet is crazy place just finding this feels GOOD to laugh at things especially when one thinks about it a bit more and finding there are so many things you can laugh your ass off at to the point you could fall out of your chair. Just feels good to be at that point where things that would normally make one angry now make one laugh loudly. Laughing about it is better than going off on folks about things and as someone with High Blood Pressure a good laugh is a lot better than yelling to me.
