The 66% sale value is a number used by various actuarial advisers/creditor's administrators. Often to demonstrate positive cashflow is still achievable and business viability through sufficient customer base.

On such a quantum of stock (a few end of line items fine but this sale has covered large portion of in-stock inventory) this runs as a huge loss, c33-45% per item. Unless immediate cash needed, and not possible to raise, there are more sustainable but less time critical alternatives.

I would much rather be rather be wrong, I don't want to be right and see fellow members lose money to pre-orders etc. Hence the caution.

Yeah, it's entirely possible, but nothing is actually confirmed through the relevant channels as yet.

I agree it's possible that they're taking advice and ensuring they can show they're viable etc. if it is needed shortly

In such a case then, in order to not unintentionally twist the knife perhaps it would be more prudent to follow Ronan Keating's advice and say it best by saying nothing at all?

    Newage have revealed Grimlock!

1st one isn't for me due to a very cartoony colour scheme but I expect they'll do a toy deco as well. It'll be nice to have another set of Dinobots at this scale as MFT's look nice but aren't much fun to pose or transform.

    It's a fair point.

There is a trail of pre-order and refund woes on here though too and sadly a very mixed track record.

I mean, this sale is by all means a scratch card.

G2 seems a good possibility after the cartoon and toy colours!

I also expect a Magic Square Grimlock prototype in the next week or so :D

    @CZ Hazard,
If Newage do those colours they'd get my money!

A fun day today, got to handle many figures I never had before.

Most of CW wave 1...which btw Alpha Bravo and Fireflight had yellowing on :(  First time I handled CW Prime; he ain't as bad as people made him out to be, but I didn't try combining them. Maybe that would have changed my mind.

HFTD Payload---phroar, that's how you do a voyager of the olden days.

ROTF Leader Prime---glad to handle this figure once more. His backpack alone has more plastic and joints than a modern deluxe!

G1 Scorponok, almost complete. We took care in restoring it as much as possible [had lots of grime and dust on it]. Missing a few parts, but was a joy. Whoever designed Earthrise Scorponok truly loved the original, so many things had carried over.

And this lovely one step Sideswipe. He's the one I kept from that lot. Unashamedly toyetic. Red, funky. Love him, hollow sides and all.

Aughhhh, I thought these Seeker KOs had disappeared completely from TK Maxx? Annoying that they never turned up at any of the usual importers. If anyone spots them, I'll happily pay cost and P&P!

For anyone who has them, how does Siege Sideswipe fit in SSBB Ratchet & Wheeljack? could he potentially be one of the gang? at least in alt mode if not robo

Scaling and aesthetic-wise I reckon Generations FOC 'Swipe might work better or even best for next to the SS BB lads, he's got a bit more of a greebly face closer the the BB Movies lads Bay-lite faces than the smooth 'Toon face of the WFC. Plus also a Cybertronian Alt. Mode.
