Just curious, what was the last new mold XTransbots released? And when did they release it?

I think part of the delays in releasing new molds. Was due to last year. XTB releasing that Menasor combiner. Then wasting more time releasing 3+ repaints for each Stunticons.

Other delays are the repeated ecolors for XTB Cyclonus and XTB Scourge.

Had XTB not released Menasor they would have not been so back up and maybe on a better schedule.

Dislike how newer sketches gets pushed to the front of the production line. While older text shots get pushed back.

Either way, think this is the slowest 3rd party company out there.

If the company is so backed up. Why don't they just hire more workers. Or getting a bigger factory or newer better toy making tech.

Seems like Fans hobby and Fans toys are releasing toys new toys fast.

At this point, I think XTB should just start selling there designs. To other companies so they can make them faster.

Last new mold was released in 6 months ago (Janssen) with 2 releases since.

The issue is COVID. XTB is looking to be heavily affected by the chinese lockdowns due to their location.

Yes they have a backlog, but selling their designs to someone to make is just a ridiculous idea.

    Have some patience

XTB should explore options to relocate.

Remember even before Covid, this was always a slow releasing toy company.
Most of there delayed products are over 5 years old when they first announced them.

Remember in the year before Covid hit. This company spent that whole before year on those junkions molds and repaints.

Honestly such a slow company like this. It was a mistake to make a combiner. Sadly think they might be doing Defensor next. Which will probably get pushed to the top of the production list.

Wasn't XTB spending the whole last year on that Menasor combiner. Seems like thats all they released last year. Along with Cyclonus and Scourge repaints .

I honestly don't think it Covid. Think it's repeated repaints and resculpts that are causing all these delays.

Just think XTB wants to break the master molds before they move on to new toys.

Xtransbots has been pretty steady with their releases. Who has been "fast"? Fanstoys has a large backlog of figures too. MMC seems good but would they be fast? Getting use out of molds is standard. Even hastak does it.

It's frustrating how long its taking them, but it's probably the lockdowns. They had some issues with kup last year, and some drama with that youth dead end that I think pushed them back as well.

Their preceptor came out of nowhere, and looked pretty solid QC wise. This cyclonus looks fantastic as well. I hope to pick it up after fanstoys Hannibal.

It seems like they are trying to step it up. If they need more time for stuff, so be it. 3rd party is a waiting game. I just wish they would communicate more, but I don't blame them for staying off of this message board, we are a pretty cranky bunch, and I would ignore us if I were in their shoes, lol.

lol Yeah xtb you're too slow why don't you just move!
I mean you make enough money selling plastic toys to 30 40 50 year old men and women, why can't you just relocate you're whole business to suit me!
I mean fanstoys is the best company out there and i've had my beserk since it got release 5 years ago they deliver everything in time and fast, all this rubbish about dead end and the trailer? i've had my combiner parts and dead for 2 years now, XTB are just too slow

In all seriousness that new head looks the business and i'm thinking of making the switch to eligos now, man i dunno

I also picked this new deco Eligos as my main Cyclonus- and I also like Quietus enough that I don't want to get rid of him entirely...so I ended up buying the KO yesterday and will sell on the real "T" version I have when he arrives, lol.

My + reissue arrived a few days ago. Paint is actually really nice and looks a lot like the finish on my Fanstoys Cyclonus but a tad less glossy. Haven't attempted transforming so I can't comment on that but the review above has me worried given the issue he had with the legs on his. That said I'm actually more bothered by the lack of a hip/thigh rotation when posing. I had the first release of this guy which I subsequently sold to get Fanstoys but my memory failed me apparently as I didn't recall how poor his legs are at posing without any kind of rotation. Quite disappointing, especially given I should have known already.

There definitely haven't been posted enough pics of the + version in here. Come on, guys. More shots of the different toon style faces! More of him next to FT Sovereign! Have him destroy some Paw Patrol vehicles! Do not disappoint me...

As others have said they are very stiff but do rotate. I'll post pictures when I get home later today.

That’s a helpful review. Is he correct that there’s a molding error on the legs? Is that true for everyone’s copy?

^^ I’m paying close attention to that here too. I’m thinking of getting him but I want to see it MWal’s copy was a one off or if that mis molding is more widespread.

    As promised, pics are below:

I really like the figure but I do wish he did have some ab crunch. Still really enjoyable.
