Too bad that they put these cameos in a movie hardly anyone will see. People were already not happy with the voices of the characters. Kind of like wrong sounding Muppets.

 

The voices are wrong because those are their "real" voices. The voice they have in the show is just that, a voice for the show.

 

Just finished watching this, and it was actually pretty good. Very much a spiritual successor to Roger Rabbit. Tons of Easter eggs and cameos from outside Disney, and even from grown up cartoons like South Park and Beavis and Butt-head.

 

From the screenshots I've seen, it looks like Blaster is just cropped out of a G1 episode, can anyone tell which one in particular?

 

Those toes look weird. I really hope those aren't part of the final ROTB design.

geez I just started watching this movie and that appearance by Blaster in the first three minutes really took me out of it!

It's like a modern-age Who Framed Roger Rabbit!

just finished watching it and it is a love-letter to Roger Rabbit as well as the animation industry in general with dead-on funny references to stuff like cgi makeovers, abortive attempts at animation leading to uncanny valley issues and more quickie jokes in the background than you can keep track of...

 

It's an Amalgam of many popular characters. You guys are so obsessed with a transformers boot your not noticing all the other things that thing is made from. the other leg is Woody from Toy Story. his left arm is Wreck-It Ralph arm. Torso is from this Peter Pan looking dude. The Head is clearly from Fat Cat (possibly his daughter?) The right upper arm and shoulder I think just might be Shredder's from the 2003 TMNT toon

I'm guessing Kismet and Fat Cat hooked up and had a kid. Because the head abover looks a lot like Kismet's head but in Fat Cat's colors.

 

Right shoulder looks like it's supposed to be Shredder's, but not 100% matched to any one particular design he's had, as far as I can tell. Closest to 2003, though.

Right forearm is somewhat reminiscent of G1 Megatron's fusion cannon, but not a direct lift, so I don't know if it's supposed to be that, or something else.

 

def from 2003 shredder. The gun looks more like a Searchlight to me being used as a weapon, not entirely sure. It launches rockets I noticed.

 

That's nice. But I want Disney to stay the fuck away from Transformers.

 

What threw me off is that the sode is missing from the armour in screenshot that you originally had up top (the second one, now). But yeah, with that present, definitely based on his 2003 design.

 

I guessed it basically due to the black muscles and how it's highlighted. the shoulder pad are draw in such a way where you can tell where it came from.

The fact Woody's leg is on there is a little funny to me. All the various parts are from different villains except for woody's leg, and Optimus Prime's Leg. XD

Starting to think the Black Leather Sleeveless Duster belongs to The Undertaker. (WWE) but idk. looks a bit too generic for him.

 

Yeah, I did too. But the piece of armour seemingly being missing is why I hedged my bets, saying "not 100% matched".

 

I think you guys are misunderstood. He got shot with the bootleg machine so it's actually a leg from The Ultimate Commander from hit series Deformations.

 

Nah not deformations, it's from converter bots.

 

You severely understimate the power of that brand

 

I think you overestimate it. It’s a Chip ‘N Dale movie, direct to streaming, I don’t exactly see it as a powerhouse.

 

The cameo's and it is easy to watch since it's on a streaming service and not in theaters will help it.
