Was able to get some stuff out of storage, so I’m back to working on this custom:

    A7A4647B-8CEF-4915-A33A-8FB12C2A85C2.jpeg 344B1E54-B267-48A6-9435-117B4681BE23.jpeg

Just fitted the torso armor and it works pretty well. The rest of the armor still needs more sanding and trimming to fit right. Gonna add a clear crystal on the belt and will need more paint in general.

So, what’s the over/under that this actually ships this month?

    That’s what I figured, thanks.

At this point I wish they would just cancel all the orders, and then put it back up for order when it’s actually ready.

I'm starting to feel the same way. I actually canceled a lot of stuff I had on pre-order at this point. The year long wait..sometimes longer..with no info at all is kinda killing the desire for the purchase at this point.
All I'd really like is Freeze at this point and I'm sure it has something to do with the WB weapon thing but some kind of actual info would be welcome at this point.

Part of me thinks they just straight cant do it at that original price point now with the way inflation and supplies have blow up since it went on order so long ago and are just stuck now.

According to the list on Dorklair (@DukeFett's co-podcaster), there's still stuff that has not been released as of now til September. October to Jan 2023 is another question all together

    Screenshot 2022-05-19 114235.png

We've got the Krig 13 Squad Set and the Golden Age Bats vs. Harvey (two weeks early?) which has been released this month. The rest is unknown given the situation overseas with the rolling lockdowns in Mainland China with a Zero Tolerance policy. Based on the projection dates given here, its now a waiting game to see and when this stuff gets finished and released.

Edit: I'm more curious on Blaze and his Bike on the release date more than the Gaslights Bats as those are the only two pre-orders outstanding that I have with Mezco. Who knows if Gaslights Bats might be pushed up early as the Golden Age Bats Two Pack set has been released.

I agree that they're probably going to lose some money on Batman. That's one of the reasons that I think they're doing all these deluxes for $120-150. They're A-list characters that will always sell, throw in some more accessories and make a bundle.

Are you sure that you didn’t steal my thunder @Legate to @Slave IV? Porcupine Quills are just as effective in getting the point across as well. :lolol  :lol

Stuff is still getting backlogged as you know that already @Gabriel Contreras. Now it’s just the waiting game for ‘89 Bats, Death Dealer, FF four figure set, Mr. Freeze and more as I know that most of everyone is already getting pissed off about the numerous delays and pushed back, possibly canceled projects with no answers about why besides what’s happening around the world presently right now.

Damn completely forgot about Ultraman lol. Some of these delays are a bit baffling. Like Batman is the one I really get because they seemed to have overestimated what they could do with the seamless body. Almost everyone else? No real reason outside of typical covid stuff, I wonder if their factory is booked up or something and they just have to wait. That happened with Super7 with one of their Thundercats waves where Mattel basically wanted to make a bunch of Jurassic Park figures and they just stopped working on Super7 stuff.

I don’t think there’s any way they release more than four more figures in what’s left of this year let alone the dozen plus they have loaded to be released in the summer. They are so far behind.

Are you talking about preorders or figures in general? I figure there’s at least 2-3 Rumble Society figures in our futures this year on top of established preorders.

Not counting the Brokers, mind you.

I mean released licensed figures actually in our hands. I’m sure they will pump out a few rumble society figures on top of that. I’m not optimistic they will hit even close to what they have promised when they have promised, as most of the promised timelines have already been pushed back a year plus at this point.

Morbius, Batman 89, Tiger Stripe Wolverine, Predator, Destro, classic Superman, FF, now Doom and the new Spider-man. Between them and Mafex I’ve very much learned “out of sight out of mind” and to not have expectations about release. They’ll get here when they get here (except maybe 89 Bats)
