Kind of wish I had some Pokémon to transfer over.

My Pokémon activity lately has been watching the XY series. On episode 29 now. Heard it was good and I can see why. So far pretty easy watching. Nothing particularly deep about the episodes, pretty formulaic, but pretty good humor and there's a pretty decent supply of cute moments. Ash isn't a fucking idiot like in Black and White, which is a big plus. He's just a moron still not seeing through Team Rocket's Bugs Bunny-tier disguises, but at least he's not doing bone headed things in battle and forgetting Pokémon. Serena is becoming better as time goes on but I think she's barking up the wrong tree sitting around with Ash. They feel like they're 14 even though they're supposed to be like 10 but Ash still clearly hasn't yet gotten all the kinds of feelings 14 year olds have. She really should have put the moves on him, realized he's not into it and just continued traveling like she clearly enjoys.

 

Yeah, they did say that they'd be staggering logins to ease the server load.

I can finally log in now.

I will admit that I do find it odd that they didn't include the original versions of Hisuian variants though the Space-Time distortions.

 

Man, I got the perfect EV Hisui starters from Home and I didn't check them carefully but they all have default Japanese names....

Ah well, with grit rocks and mass outbreaks/space time distortions, its not a hard thing to get more.

Besides I already have 2 alphas and 2 shinies out of the 3.

I assume we will see the legendary Pokémon and get box art.

For SwSh when they dropped their trailer on June 5th, it included several Pokemon, the new gimmick, focused on the region and gave us the legendaries.

So its likely.

 

good it is about time we got some official news.

 

I would want to see all the new Pokemon, evolutions of the starters and confirmation of Scyther/Scizor being in the game. But the only exciting thing I predict tomorrow are the 2 cover Pokemon.

 

Please gamefreak.. DO NOT show all the new pokemon. I hate you effers for constantly doing that.

To be fair I don't think they've done that the last two game releases. Sword and Shield I think still had some surprises (Galarian Meowth and Perrserker off the top of my head I don't think were officially revealed pre-launch). For Arceus definitely, they may have actually kept more a surprise than they did reveal. By my count, including new forms, they had 8 revealed vs 12 that were not. And another 5 (Arcanine, Electrode, and Hisuian Starters) that were hinted at but weren't revealed properly.


I do agree though I hope they don't do a Sun and Moon and just reveal most everything. It's so nice to just be surprised by an unexpected new Pokemon you never knew was a thing.
