@borgified Queen Studios has revealed their Gandalf. What's your take on it?

 

I believe that this one that Sir Ian McKellen wears while entering the Shire. From what I've been reading on Collectors Freak, it sounds like for those that got the Asmus version will be selling it off if and getting this one. I'm actually looking forward to see Sir Christopher Lee more.

Are you willing to pay possibly $400-$600 USD for Gandalf @supervir2? I think there is more versions of Gandalf in the series.

I like this strange better than my IW one, but not sure how much I want to swap out again.

 

I love that Strange but I gotta make sure I can afford it before I put down a NRD.

 

That cost will depend on the hair options, I preordered the QS Dark Knight Joker 2 pack for maybe 600 bucks? The rooted hair version was a lot more so I passed....

Price is out! $446! Yikes, not cheap but all their stuff looks really good so far. Listening to their live streams, they worked on making sure their products don’t have the same hot toys problems.

Guess we will see! I probably wouldn’t go preorder crazy until their Joker is released. If that thing is a beauty, I’ll preorder this figure too.

Their preorders have cut off dates. By the time their Joker is released, I doubt you'll find any preorders for this and if you do, it might be a risk of not getting your order.

 

I haven't seen the movie, but this design feels more like a costume than the previous suit. While nowhere near as bad, it reminds me of their attempt to give him yellow gloves. I much prefer the Infinity War fig.

 

Inart essentially only has licenses for China, so no. You can order from import sites like One Sixth Kit, TNS Figures, and others.

 

There's a rolling debate of the Two Wandas (Wandavision vs. MoM) on you know where @Hellbot. I got the Wandavision on the way hopefully and I'm starting to warm up to the MoM version. Will we get a possible good version of a Illiumanti from the movie?  

 

Although, I do remember some licenses aren't restricted to China. They mentioned 2. Dune/Paul Atreides was one but I can't remember if LOTR is the other.

Edit: LOTR isn't the other because if it was, you can order directly on their website.

 

My guess if if HT doesn't do it, 3rd party versions of Xavier and Mr Fantastic are very likely.

Has Asmus screwed up somewhere on Ash on likeness/or finish @Destructimis Prime?

It seems like Asmus either makes or skips out on certain details and collectors (on various boards) are not too impress with their stuff at all. Inart/Queen Studios is double the price compared to Asmus as they’re more detailed however they’re priced like Prime 1 studio polystone statues.

 

@borgified Ash is pretty good. I got the standard version so there was less to mess up. I don’t really care for stands and diorama pieces so that was an easy skip for me. The nameplate was messed up as everyone knows but they provided stickers to fix it. The overall quality is pretty good. The eyes seemed a bit off when I was looking at them yesterday. Like the right eye was looking slightly higher than the left eye. It could be an illusion from certain angles. I’m impressed with the paint and weathering. But compared to hot toys it’s lesser quality. I’m still happy so far. I just wish the torn shirt was included with the standard version as well.
