Add in enough remolding and extra goodies and they can hit it with leader class pricing. Of course ... even using those molds with zero hollow spaces will make the Hasbro execs scream in agony.

Nope! Just skipping it altogether. I don't have any connection or nostalgia for this repaint. He looks cool but I don't need it.

I actually really like the Siege Springer mold. I just wish his knees tabbed in a little better.

 

I dig the Siege Springer mold, too.
What I wish was designed differently are the little side fins in helicopter mode. They look a bit too obviously like open arm panels.
And that the backpack actually tabbed in so that it wouldn't shift every time I pick him up.
As for problems with my copy, the ankles are way too loose and the swords like to fall off the sides of the backpack at the slightest nudge.

 

He wasn' THAT bad. He was mediocre. I didn't say he was a dumpster fire.

 

Siege Springer definitely has some qc issues. I had to put Kiki on his ankles because he was completely incapable of standing on his own. He's also a pain to transform. Looks good in my display though, other than the battle damage paint. I'm hoping the inevitable SS86 version will improve his ankles in addition to eliminating the battle damage paint.

 

Though, how do you pronounce Spindle's Name? Do you pronounce it "Spin-dle" or "Spine-dle"?

 

While I certainly admit the "Spine-dle" idea is clever, I could never bring myself to pronounce a word spelled that way any way other than "Spin-dle."

Spindle is a solid remould. Funny how the Fossilizers are the best part from this line.

Leadfoot is an adequate update although I wish it would have included a rotor like the original toy.
