I now know why I don’t do social media like FB and Twitter.

I’m fairly laid back and relaxed. I’d like to think I’m diplomatic. Being called a passive aggressive little snot seemed a bit far. Can I have a show of hands in here. Do I come across like that? Actually please don’t. Might upset me and hurt my feelings. Maybe I need to work on my social media etiquette. If I wronged any of you in here or were rude/out of line, I apologise for historical things that to date I’m unaware of.

Ps- I’d give the Haslab VS thread a miss for the moment.

To be fair I reported it to eBay that the listing still wasn’t as described, and provided proof I’d asked further questions about the condition and that this was hidden from me. I’d messaged the seller beforehand to see what I could do without involving eBay directly and the switch was flipped like wow. More bothered about the fact he had my money and that it was my problem. I then reported the seller again for abusive language because…it really was…on the upside I think that I am getting a partial refund at least.

I don’t want to drag offsite drama into here but I know some of you might have been curious to see what had become of it.

 

My rule of thumb is - if someone is asking 'am I rude' it's a pretty sure sign that they haven't been...

If MOTUO has taught us anything, it's that more things need gimmicks as gimmicks are fun !

Doesn't matter the size or scale in my opinion, the dafter the better !

 

The only exception is possibly when they do it before saying the thing, like "Tell me if I'm being rude or offensive but... *insert horrifically rude and offensive thing*"

 

I think that's part of why I enjoy the fans hobby stuff quite a bit, especially Meg Tyranno, Naval Commander and Double Evil - lots of doors and pop out bits and thing to make you make pew pew noises to yourself.

Frankly, I don't think it counts as off-site drama to warn us of a dodgey ebay seller. I reckon name and shame dude so we know to avoid. Particularly if they were abusive.

I’ve backed that Haslab VS and all I said yesterday was that I felt Star Sabers hands used for VS seemed small and Victory Leo’s legs in bot mode a little on the short side. I’ve always maintained I like the set and cannot wait to have it in person. To be accused of dogpiling and perpetuating disinformation along with some urchin making it more personal with their comment, I draw the line. Using a photo of Jeremy Beadle to emphasise the small hands of VS was unfair to Mr Beadle and those that suffer with Poland syndrome. Using a photo of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool regenerating his baby legs was done for a laugh. I’ve not been rude, kept it civil.

I’m not that person. Starting to find more of them in this site.
