Energon Megatron is my least anticipated of the three UT Megs. Cybertron is the one I want the most, I love that stupid, badass sci-fi race car mode.

Armada would be cool as well, but I personally wouldn't use it as Megatron for my own purposes. It's a sick design, and I feel like it can really work as its own character (I do still love that it exists as a Megatron design though).

 

If you want armada megs to be his own character there's always the megazarak repaint hastak could do: it'd even count as a RID figure

 

Yeah, this guy was on my mind. Knew he had Zarak in the name but couldn't remember the exact prefix.

This is a sick colorscheme on this design though. I'd love them to do this if/when they get around to a new Armada Megs.

 

Because we already have 2 very well done Cybertron designs in the line already. Simple as that. I'd like for Armada to get some love first honestly, I like the design and it's the one that comes to my mind after the original, but there's already 2 figures for Cybertron in completely new molds so that one seems like the shoe in

Not a bad thing though, I can't deny that he's definitely got a really cool design, and being a triple changer gives him something above most other Megatrons'. He's probably only my third choice though, since a new Leader RID Megatron would be something more interesting

 

Unlike the very complex characters of the G1 Combiners, like the Aerial bots consisting of Silverbolt who is...uh noble and brave, Slingshot who is kind of a dick....Fred....Carl....and Steven...or the Technobots who are smart, or the Constructicons who are...mean and ironically dislike construction...wait a fucking minutes combiners never had anything beyond like a sentence of fluff on a character bio for personalities!

 

Besides the Stunticons.

eh, combaticons (especially swindle) usually don't fall into that trap at least.

 

Fair too, but at least they got bios in the back of their boxes that explained something about them. Characters like Wideload and Terradive got literally nothing in characterization, with the team leaders getting slightly better with actual bios. In the show, they barely even got any characterization due to being combined like 99% of the time, and even then, the Decepticon combiners basically amounted to extra muscle, with Superion Maximus getting a bit more characterization (though not by much).

 

Swindle is the only one who's personality I can actually remember, and that's because of Animated where he wasn't even a combiner. its also the one where I actually can remember the Combaticons and their personalities and group dynamic

 

If I were to guess Armada Megatron since we're getting an Armada Starscream.

Never watched Energon as a kid, so can't really think of anything I'd really like to see updated.

 

I don't know which they'll actually do first, but would like to see Armada Megatron. Personal favorite, and might as well start at the beginning.
Plus, with the relatively small cast of Armada, it would be the easiest to complete while still doing updates from other series.

 

I didn't grow up with the UT ( I need to go and watch all of Armada and Cybertron). But personally, I'm thinking Armada Megs since we're getting Armada Starscream and also when I think UT Megatron I think his Armada design.

That and also they could do a retool of Override into a Batmobile. She gives over Batmobile vibes.

 

Damn you are right and it wouldn't even be hard to do. Replace the gun fins with more bat-like wings, add a new headsculpt with big ears since it won't get in the way of the transformation, and maybe even retool the middle panels on the front of the car to resemble the 89 Batmobile or make them smaller to be more like the Beyond Batmobile to keep a more futuristic look. Slap a bat symbol onto the hood and you are all set.

 

There is only one Bat-Mobile worthy of being deemed a Transformer.

 

Man I'd pass on a regular Batmobile but the Beyond, mmm, it is a fine machine.

 

I could see them doing the a crossover as the 89 Batmobile since it’s iconic, perfect and also gonna appear along with Keaton in The Flash next year. It and the BvS Batmobile are my favorite Batmobile’s.

Hope we get a Batman X Transformers crossover and also would be curious to see how the robot would look.
