I'm afraid I do customs for love, not money (because I get better money per hour for the odd bit of Freelancing, and maybe one Redbubble sticker every 3 or 4 years - make yourself a Redbubble, Chris, it's dead easy. Bless @MyTea Boc for nabbing a Fallen Biker Logo Tee off me!), and the Velocitron Black Convoy might just scratch that itch for you marginally less expensively than a custom commission, eh?
    I would, indeed, :lolol

Oh, not seen that before, it's a good fun design, although somewhat optimistic that you can get such wildly divergent modes one a single mould. But it's be well up for that, mostly because it would be practically revolutionary to have a plane which isn't yet another military jet. Off the top of my head I can't think of a single one, though there's been a small smattering of rescue helicopters.

I think this, as well as last night's rant about boring gun accessories, pretty well means I'm just about done with militaristic transformers. Give me some civilian guys that can hang out with Beachcomber and Groove.

Incidentally a Nautica retool of Override would get my attention, but even though this does look alright I'll be sticking with my MMC Nitro.

Knowing this doesn't change my feelings on greater chassis variety in fembots, mind :)  Even if, in this case, it was originally not intended that way.

Still listening, just haven't been posting much of late!

But yeah, in a weird way how sought after they are take away the enjoyment ever so slightly as I'm terrified I'm going to break something!

    Swoon.

I can repaint him into Scourge if you want. Give me a shout - you may want to hang on til the end of the week, though, as PVP also has the Velocitron Scourge coming up for review sometime soon.

The most obvious ones, for me, would be a Blurr of some kind and some IDW-style fembots like Lottie and Firestar et al.

She looks exactly like the original but with upgraded articulation to me but I have to say, accurate or not, I hate that weapon. :S

I want the mahoosive Waruder SO VERY VERY MUCH.

Can anyone recommend a product to degunk sticker residue please ?

I've got 91% alcohol but I'm concerned that overspill might strip colour :(

@Brum Bot if I recall rightly had to remove stickers from his G1 Rodimus Prime G1 renovation he was carrying out. He might have a thread in the radicons where he records what he did on removing the sticker residue.

    EDIT:
Here you go. Try checking this out by Rob.

Minor/Repaint: - G1 Rodimus Prime Toyhax and chrome

If it's stickers on clear plastic deffo avoid alcohol. Toy Polloi Dave uses lighter fluid to remove stickers and clean off sticker gunk IIRC, not had to try that myself yet so I don't know from experience.

I think a lot of the folks saying that Velocitron Override's design is so faithful to the original are missing how close the original is to the current Legacy aesthetic myself, it's still a relatively simple car shape compared to the sorts of angles and shaping all over the truck mode there is on, say, a "faithful" Prime Bulkhead design, and a pretty clean, simple robot mode to boot.
If she's a Voyager though, there's gotta be some dedicated effects parts, and maybe even a Velocitron key, that PvP hasn't got his mitts on, yeah? That's a neat chest collapse but not as sophisticated an affair as SS86 Rodders IMHO.

The last thing I used was Tim-clean, a citrus based CPU cleaner! Worked quite nicely.

Hmm I wouldn't say Windblade's jet mode is particularly military. Unless you were specifically meaning Earthmode jets, in which case yeah, it would be nice to have more non military altmodes.

I've used Sticky Stuff Remover from Tesco on G1 stuff before to good effect, but would avoid using it on painted surfaces.

    All the best

In my personal experience, DON'T use lighter fluid. I've seen it recommended by a lot of people who do toy restorations and it works for them, but that was all on plastic surfaces

I would previously use it to remove the rub signs from junkers to put on my G1s that were missing them. I quickly learned that it will 100% make the chrome extremely soft. I used it to remove half-destroyed stickers on the top part of Grimlocks chest and the chrome just flaked and peeled away at the touch of a plastic scraper.

Hope this helped you with a drawback on 1 potential option

I'm still keeping up with it though I'm also mostly just buying the bigger more interesting sets, until just recently I was actually getting bored with the line and the endless variations of powered suits.
The new Versaulters really turned me off to start with but the just announced tactical carrier is the breath of fresh air I needed to bring me back to the line and the announcement that the big mamma jamma, GRB himself is finally on the way has really got me excited for the line all over again.

Not sure I'd agree with that. The design is non-specific, non-earth, sure, and is free of the usual array of missiles and guns and so forth, but it's still invoking the design of military fighter jets, with the shape of the nose, canopy, wings etc. All the design tropes follow the usual military standards. And her only accessory is a weapon, too.

But won't Override show up at Smyths? They sold the Netflix exclusives after all.

She looks great. Assuming she's a proper price, I'll get her. Or her original figure. One or the other.

Aye, the massive versions are the 'proper' insecticons with the normal sized ones their clones. And making endless clones of themselves are kinda their thing so you don't even need to headcannon anything, the excuse is there in the lore.

Finally saw strange 2. Loved it. Raimi was clearly having fun. At one point, i heard a young kid say to her friends "i swear this is a 12!"

He's still a much more fun transformation than siege.

Hard disagree, my Siege Springer has yet to shed tabs from simple correct transformation thus far, and T30 is a torment getting the alignment of the legs/rear car end & core canopy properly aligned for a non-gappy mallard tumbler cab if doing it properly is one's preference. I can see, and way more easily get, where Siege Springers parts are supposed to go and get them there in transformation.
