I do like the idea of Esmeral being a Wyvern, but there are multiple Ripclaw decos, one of which was featured in an old Fall of Cybertron tie-in comic, so it would also immediately pair with Planet X’s Vulcan, too.

 

Going with a four-legged winged beast such as a griffin/gryphon for her could possibly also get you gender-swapped BW Tigerhawk and Silverbolt with some remolding, so at least there are characters with actual screen time.

BW Silverbolt of course would then need a spider partner, so all the more reason then to create another mold for one of Blackarachnia (any version), Tarantulas/Mesothulas, or Airachnid.

 

I love the rodan kaiju idea. And you could get from it many characters I feel. BW NYX, Bw airrazor, Bw Terrorsaur, Eris: Bw transmental 2 Megatron, BW nightglider, Bw fractyl.... I would really love the see the Mmc/OX team tackle more beastformers. We really only got Ravage, the pet, dzef which are beautiful... oh there's also skylynx if we can even count that.

 

I was loaned an early sample to do a preview on but unfortunately this early version is not representative enough to do a full preview, but I'll probably put together a couple of shorts just to quickly show it off.

What do you mean by this? Are paint apps or some other parts missing?

 

My understanding is that it won the popular vote but not the electoral college. 3rd party is sooooo political these days.

 

There's a bunch of late test shot copies of both Zefs and even the mostly painted ones don't have all the paint aps we intend to put on them.

Given Paik posted a short vid of one of the unpainted eaglebreasts I'd assume he got one of the pre-painting ZefC copies that was at TFcon.

I’m using this as CHUG Deszarus and wanna put him with MT Striker Manus, MT Thunder Manus, FP dai-Z, FP protector and PE Warden (all the autobot leaders)

The IDW color palette works better with those figures, but the G1 mold is more appropriate

The only thing I could complain about now is that I haven’t gotten my PayPal invoice from The Chosen Prime!  

And, I was just about to start rewatching Victory tonight, so these photos are very timely!  

The only fig I have to pose Zef with is PX’s Cacus, tho I’ve also got Eris KA on preorder and I’ll probably get Bingotoys’ Windgirl, too.

I also just genuinely prefer the IDW head for being more science fantasy and less banchō!  

Tho, if by Solus’ grace we somehow got a new TF anime, I’d riotously laugh if Deathsaurus says “yare yare daze!”  

 

Holy shit, you guys actually darkened the blue? I guess I'll still double dip but this makes me so happy, man.

 

My understanding is that it will be the lighter blue seen in @hardreturn‘s pictures and that the darker blue is not representative of the real hue of color.

 

He looks fantastic! Part of me wishes that they would've upscaled the Continuum version just a bit to differentiate between the 2, but that's a moot point now. I'm all in on both versions

I would prefer a dark blue as well. Just passing on the info I have.

Maybe something did change with the colors. I would be glad if the toy looks in hand as it does in those pictures.
