Just letting you all know I’m cancelling my Thomas pre-order on chosen prime if anyone wants it.

I know it’s been a long day when TFSource has Thomas is stock for $399 and no preorders when I wake up to none in stock and $199 preorders when I go to bed.

 

$199.99 on the US sites, so does this mean $169.99/$179.99 on BBB/ShowZ/etc?

I think they are probably trying to keep the cost down and get the price close to the KO. That's the only logical thing I can think of? Very odd

If this goes to that price wow... I'd basically paid an extra $50 for a stand I'll never use on a figure I won't risk transforming 2 years ago, thanks fanstoys

Nah, tracks should come with em. Shouldn’t have to pay extra for stuff that came with the base release. People gotta pester them for the tracks.

 

They've lost their minds thinking extra heads and swords will sway people. Now they are doing the opposite, chances are one of these ideas will work? I mean they obviously could just reduce the price but that's probably asking too much

I'm in on this one. I don't think there there will be a better third party one and I'll be dead before Takara makes him.

 

I could care less for swords and a bunch of faces. Especially TT’s o’ face. But I use the hell out of astrotrains tracks/stand. What a cool feature to ditch. That’ll show the ko companies!

Why even think and wait of Takara and die until they do everything. There are so much great 3p figures that are released and will be released. And Takara took so much beats. Seekers, Cliffjumper, Ultra Magnus, Sideswipe etc. I just don't get that fixation about Takara need to do everything. I don't think about them. I don't care about that. Takara fanboys will probably throw stones on me but I don't fear of anyone nor I care. I'm dedicated to 3p companies.

 

Not throwing stones, but for some people there's still something about supporting the owners of the intellectual property, who (initially, at least) had a good track record of quality products.

Hasbro's more recent releases (or lack thereof) has undermined my preference for them, but I still appreciate the sentiment.

 

I guess some people just want the Takara ones but they do things like make Skids before Jazz or Cliffjumper. Even if they do make Astrotrain, my guess is they'll make him a licensed train or some stupid shit that fucks up his robot mode.
