Got Jazz in yesterday but just opened him up. Nice shelf presence with his boys,, the few gripes aside, it's the best looking g1 bot mode & packed with accessories.

I intentionally avoided everyone in that lineup. I mostly collect IF, but their minibots (and IDW Magnus) just did not do it for me. I switched to MS for those.

It's not my style, but they certainly all match.

I thought I had posted these on here but was looking at zeta thread for him trying to find the fix for the chest popping off, turns out mine is a different problem causing it so ended up just Gluing it on.

Also Silverbolts floppy backpack fell off but I find I prefer the look without it anyway

 

Strange question, but would anyone happen to have a comparison between NA Agamemnon and FT Thomas? I'm tempted by the impending KO, and I'm wondering how he'd look with NA figs. MFT's was cool, but I've always felt Astrotrain should be an absolute giant. (Especially considering the Constructicons can combine inside his shuttle mode.) Thanks in advance!

It’s Teletraan-1!



Super happy to have the supercomputer in my collection. I am not into diorama sets but Teletraan was always a favorite of mine from the original series so I had to get this one.

 

Cyberverse did have a roughly combiner sized Astrotrain, and I tend to agree that it certainly cuts down on the drastic massforming of G1 Astrotrain.

So, combiner and/or SkyLynx sized seems right for Astrotrain to me.

Zeta’s recently announced toy deco of their Spacetron also looks kinda close to Cyberverse’s Astrotrain, tho I dunno if that figure is any good. But, I definitely think Spacetron’s chest seems a bit too long.

For me, I probably should’ve gotten MFT’s Toy Deco Astrotrain and then gotten the head coloring I actually wanted for that which was bundled in with one of the slight variations on the OG deco, but I hesitated.

So, I’m just gunna wait to see if Iron Factory or anyone else offers something that catches my eye.

Yeah, with Reformatted dying down a bit I think Legends scale is my new go-to. It's cheaper, they take up less space, the designs are innovative and fresh, and the transformations are (for the most part) fun and intuitive.

 

Well this has certainly been an expensive week. Feet first back into hell 3rd Party Legends, I suppose.

Picked up a 1:64th scale police bike to represent Groove because I know when one is released it'll likely be larger than the cars.   This one is a slightly smaller scale than the cars I have here, but I think it looks pretty good.

The 3rd pic is what I hope I'll be able to modify it to look like. It's so tiny I'm not sure where I'll find a star and lettering that'll work. The blue windscreen should be easy, though.
