    It's tempting even design unseen.

For the sake of comparison until we see actual images the pictured toy is 30'' long , has light and sound features and a handle on top in order for one to "fly" the ship.

Zurgs mother ship is 18 inches long with the same features and handle.

    Lanards Star Troopers Galactic Mothership

I just noticed that they both include "mothership" in their names.

    Purely a coincidence.

I really hope there's enough cargo space to store some diaclone trivers bots, i need it.

The Lightyear ship or the Lanard Star Troopers ship? If the latter ...i've seen a youtube video detailing its cargo space. It was holding 1/18th scale vehicles . I immediately imagined Diaclone mechs in their place.

I'm SO looking after the new JW Dominion mini playsets. I'm getting all the mini dinos i can since the last movie came out, i want to build a 1:60 diorama of Isla Sorna with dianauts as ingen ACU units...

Can you imagine the coolness of a thing like that?

If i'm lucky, next week the new minis should reach my local toy store.

I've seen some pictures of the JW mini figures compared to Dianauts but not much else. I *have* seen and will share what I believe was a custom "Dino Riders" homage image. It showcased a JW dinosaur with Dianauts riding said dino just like the old toys. I forgot about it until this morning (I've had it for a few weeks).

I got the impression the dino was something new so it's likely from the latest line.

Cool, i'm trying to find them on Google but i can't, is there any chance you have them? I'm curious to see how the new JW human minifigs are compared to dianauts, i have some bad plans for Claire...:ev:

Not a jw dino, still cool as hell.

    Yep:cool:

The one with the fence is what i'm waiting more than anything else, gonna buy at least 7/8 just to have enough gates to build a small diorama. If it costs more than €25 i'm fucked, i could cast them in rubber and make copies on my own but i can't in this house, so...

There are also sets with vehicles, but they're Matchbox vehicles, no way to put dianauts inside. They don't even scale...

Btw, zurg's mother shit looks cool, but i don't see any cockpit nor cargo space, so probably i'll pass on it... Too bad, i like the design. I like the colors a little less but hey, not a big deal.

Looks like there are two hinged hatches, one each on top of the two forward hull prongs/projections, question is whether they are for cockpit/control rooms or for vehicles or drop pods.

I came across this image of the ships drop pod feature:

My initial reaction was "...cool. Not $60 cool but cool." . Upon a 2nd and 3rd look...it has potential when you take into account the scale. If you added a custom command section in front of the handle we'd really have something.

    That would give you:
    * 2x upper compartments that could be gutted for a multi crew seating area if one doesn't already exist.

    * 2x lower compartments for drop pods or power suits

    * 1x multi crew command section on top (custom build)

That wouldn't be bad at *all*. If a Takara badge were on it you'd be looking at a few hundred minimum.

I wonder if the forward upper hatches are just for loading the drop pod gimmick, or are they spaces for the Micro Figures?

I'd imagine weapons or micro figure seating. I don't see any other location for figures thus far.

It'd be nice to know for sure because thus far it looks a lot like it would make for a decent Worldsweeper for Titans Return Die-Cast Scorponok!
