Sucks that the "improved" KO got canceled, tho this "fell off the truck" MP Hound didn't crumble to bits. Not a huge fan of shit not locking/tabbing into place, like everything above the waist, but it was under 50 bucks, so whatever. No mushy faces, just maybe a couple of extra flash here and there.

 

How does he compare to Willis?

 

Apples and oranges, really. I like them both for different things. As more and more toon styled bots come out, Hound will feel more at home. My personal preference is for a nice blend, and not pushing the limits of what you can get away with to make it look like it walked off a 1984 cartoon screen. For a KO though, it's a good one. I was hoping to get the one with some of the more delicate areas replaced by metal (or just a better type of plastic), but it got canceled.

Thanks. I have Willis and no intention of getting rid of him, but I like the posability of the newer Takara stuff. I normally don't go with KOs, but Takara dropped the ball on this one.

I wonder what happened to all the folks that just sold off their willys when takara announced theirs?

Willis had his issues, but maybe a couple compared to the officials laundry list. Still happy I kept mine.

 

I usually stick with the officials, but I have a few KOs because the original was no longer for sale or it was a dumpster fire   Original Bee, Star Saber, Shockwave, Sunstreaker, and Hound are it as far as I can remember. It's funny to me that they never tried to knock off that MP 09 Rodimus    

 

I sold mine a while after I got the KO (I never sell before getting replacements). I don't think anything happened to me though.
