Might even buy a flight stand for him, the F14 is my favorite of the era

F14's my favourite jet of ANY era. There's nothing quite like it.

In any case, this jet-bot in Macross Valkyrie colours would be bought on sight.

 

Yeah, this might be the best way to get a truly Macrossy Jetfire. Leave off the super parts and let a 3rd party company handle those (as long as they at least include ports where they can attach).

 

I love F-14s and have since I was a kid, but this the one crossover figure I\'ve passed on so far.  Just not a fan of the colors and proportions.  I am however glad for those that missed out on the original release getting another shot at it.

 

I'm hoping we get a deco without all the 'grime'.

With the few G2 releases there are this year, how this hasn't been remolded for Cyberjet usage as an exclusive somewhere just blows my mind.

Yellowing seems to be an issue with 50% of Hasbro’s figures now…

 

If I do fold and grab one, I'm probably gonna try and get in contact with a customizer to turn him either into Hooligan or Leader-1.

 

What bugs me about this is the description makes it sound like it doesn't come with the volley ball. Much as I'm kind of kicking myself for missing this the first time it'd suck if they cut one of the more fun accessories from this.

 

Has anyone\'s pre-orders ship yet, or are they waiting to as close to Christmas as possible just to spite me specifically?

 

I bought two of these so I have an extra volleyball if it turns out he doesn't have it. Let me know.

I don't know, but I ordered a pair of them. Waiting for them to ship. We'll find out what kind of gamble I made.

I'd say don't do Leader 1, as He was an F-15, not an F-14.

I believe he means his old copy yellowed quickly. It's had two years to do it.
