After all these years....... another must have for the collection. Hopefully a new Straxus is also in the works.

The cables are a nice touch. We should get more stuff like that with certain characters.

 

I'd want a certain amount of remolding on top of a deco change. Though to be honest, I prefer the design of the earlier CHUG Deluxe jet for IDW Jhiaxus.

I tend to think of Marvel Jhiaxus as a very different type of character who only shares his name with his IDW counterpart.

 

Personally I prefer the crazy colors, but I wouldn't be shocked to see this deco come up in Selects or as an exclusive. There isn't much you can do with this one as far as a straight repaint goes.

 

Could Jhiaxus be tooled into a decent Vector Prime?

 

I actually think this color scheme on this design looks pretty damn good. I wouldn't mind us getting this as a redeco at all. There's a millions excuses you could come up with for this too.

Just another colorscheme for Jhiaxus, or a body double like some dictators have, or hell, play into the sorta "super seeker" idea and make him like Thundercracker or Skywarp to Jhiaxus' Starscream.

 

A new Mold leader Class G2 Megatron would be phenomenal, hopefully they go back and do that one day

 

Regardless what they say, my 2nd official Jhiaxus. Stop it already HB! Let my wallet rest!

Bear in mind though that shops expecting him to not be popular would order fewer copies and his rarity may drive up the price later on.

 

This would make a cool Thunderbird 1 crossover.

 

The cables are Derek Yaniger. In the exactly one panel in which Senior rendered Jhiaxus's shins, he drew random mechanized stuff in there, not just Yaniger's field of cables.

 

Made me hope for Emirate Xaaron in the next Wreckers line

 

A good 95% of the comments about this character/figure have been positive.

It's more proof that HasTak can take 25-30 year old obscure TF comicbook characters and still hit home runs with them today if they apply themselves.

For me he's shaping up to being an overall top 5 of the best TF figures of the year between the Legacy, HasLab, SS86 and other exclusives figures. Definitely a top 3 Voyager so far, so let's hope the HasTak keeps the quality ball rolling!

 

Bear in mind that the last Jhiaxus (IDW Generations deluxe) is nearly WORTHLESS.   Imma gonna camp in the "not popular" vote. Per usual, there could be half a dozen folks here chatting the toy up, with the majority of buyers simply not caring.

 

That thing is one of my favorite figures, and I'm gonna be honest here, but once Armada Starscream comes out, I'm gonna have all of my fingers AND toes crossed that Hasbro will pull a WTF moment and remold him into orange Jhiaxus just so I can watch the world burn.  

 

I found myself using a lot of ROTF figures to build Nemesis Prime's Dead-verse army.

There's a couple more I have stored away that could be used as Jhiaxus minions.
