Yeah I would have gotten this but the deluxe looks so good and will probably be out soon.

 

Ok, after seeing the higher res pics, I like her face alot more now. It's even better than the Hasbro deluxe figure. It looks like the Hasbro face was using the prototype face, and this model kit is using the finished movie face.

You can see it in this pic from Autobahn Jazz, there are separate groves running from her nose and joining into her mouth groves that makes it look weird, where as this kit has the smooth upper lip with no groves running from her nose. Which I now prefer over Hasbro's version.

 

No, there is no "prototype face". They both use what she looked like in the final movie, except that the Trumpeter model is smaller, so the face lines couldn't be replicated as visibly, and it has blue eyes, which is technically inaccurate.

 

Mmm, ok. Well at least I now know what I must do with my deluxe Hasbro Bee Arcee to make it better, and that is to smooth out her upper lip, so she doesn't have that double cleft lips going on.

 

Have they put out a confirmed list of future bots besides the snippets we have seen here and there yet besides the bots we have already seen?

The one I'm least looking forward to, the Transformers Bumblebee version. Bumblebee has a slight different bot look everytime he takes on a new alt mode but Optimus Prime looked on Cybertron as if he already transformed into his Earth alt mode. OP also didn't have the thick rounded look the other Autobots have. Really looking forward to Brawn.

 

Actually his Cybertronian form lacked Earth kibble. The only truck-looking thing about him was the chest windows but, like, alien trucks can have windows, too.

I just want that larger scale Bumblebee to come out. Feels like it's been ages since we saw the CGI renders.

 

Man, I REALLY wish Trumpeter made an Offroad Bee kit. It's my favorite version of him, and it'd be nice to have a more screen-accurate version of him.

 

Taking a closer look, they're actually a bit different.

 

For its size and price point, it's God tier.
Though one thing I REALLY wish they didn't change for his VW mode was removing the heel tires.

They look so cool! And it's nice to see his wheels, even if that sounds a bit weird.
But I guess they hide in his calves, which would explain why they're so damn T H I C C

 

Okay so last night I finished assembling Bee and I woke up to give him a bit of touch-ups. Could use more work but for now I'm satisfied.

I picked up the Blitzwing last week and I love it, the prepainted parts are great and I didn't have any issues with chipping cutting them out or trimming the parts. And he comes with a stand! Glad there are only a few of these a year, I need to get them all.
