The OsKos aren’t terrible, but def too short. They have bulk, so if you’re creative with posing, it can be passable

I am buying him, because I want that Fortress Maximus, but considering what Cerebros is.. no way he should have been more than $150,-. He is such a bare bones figure... Clearly there is some Fanstoys accounting going on.

Agreed. I really like the Headmasters, but it's a lot of coin. I checked out the Wayback Machine recently to see what 2018 looked like, and Dracula was going for $150 USD back then at BBTS. Now Hannibal is $229 at BBTS. That's a huge increase over 4 years.

I bought it but this one really is causing me to rethink this hobby. There is nowhere near 200 plus in value in this guy.

Never got around to finishing him as I'm still waiting for the motherboards to come back into stock. By the time Fort Max comes around he's gonna be 5" to small though! I was just noticing that this just gives more evidence that the G1 toys were more of a reference for the Japanese Headmasters cartoon (like Sunbow s2) but ppl will still protest.

Looking back at those pics it's crazy how my shelves have even changed since a year ago. I do regret selling those Headmasters though, I guess it was inevitable I'd jump back in. Might have to just get another printer and press on with Scorpy.

Does the already paid deposit gets discounted as a discount code that you have to apply? The email comes with a discount code and takes the to the "Pay balance" listing and there are no signs of me having ever paid a deposit (the price is $199 including shipping).

Your deposit was a completely different order, it won't show on the balance transaction.

I can't remember what the deposit was, but it doesn't really matter. Either way, the code is a discount off the order.

The link they send me has a "Balance only" listing, at $170. The normal "in coming" listing for Hannibal is also $170, which is the regular price, is it not?

I don't think my balance reflects the already paid $15. Yes, I have contacted them, but just wanted to see if this was simply something I'm not doing right.

 

This is going to be one of those "buy it now or cry later" bots, and I'm still debating whether a giant Cerebros head on my shelf is worth $200.

 

It took a long time for Lupus, but their first two Headmasters both reached the "or cry later" stage. Considering the reactions to Chomp it would not surprise me if he reached that stage some day as well. Given that precedent I see no reason to argue with your assessment here.
