Every single Fans Toys product I've bought (I have every new release and almost every reissue from the last two years) has grease smears in some amounts (some have big puddles right on the surface, some have a little bit oozing out of joints). I have to wipe it off very carefully, and the figures still leak a bit here and there. It drives me insane.

I recently moved to a new apartment, and packed up all the bots (in alt mode) into individual plastic bags. Figures that I had transformed back an forth a few times each, and wiped as thoroughly as I could. When I unpacked them, half of them (if not more) were newly smeared in grease again. I guess there was more packed away in the deep recesses of the figures, and jostling from the move shook it out to the surface.

That grease is silicone shock oil or something similar. And it’s a very good thing FT is putting it on their figures.

They may overdo it a bit, but better safe than sorry.

I have the same problem with my Sheridan. The shoulders on my copy don't hold up a pose anything but down. From what I remember the shoulder's were pin joints instead of ratchets so that was a big minus for me when i started to fiddle with it.

I put an Autobot decal on him, wiped off the grease and put him in the Detolf. Maybe someday I’ll touch him.

I took apart the arm, and tightened the shoulder screw. A dab of Loctite would probably be a more permanent, but removable solution, opposed to superglue on the screws.. I prefer the squeak, over the leak personally.

sry for the delayed answer. I do not see any screw to tighten the shoulder. Just to make sure we are talking about the same joint... mine is loose when moving the arm forward/backward.

I removed the two shoulder screws but I found that the screws from the bar to the arm were already as tight as deep as they could go and the arm was still loose. I think I could file down the screw or add some plastic putty to the bar to thicken it... not sure what else could be done.

First remove the screw in the armpit, then you will see the screw attaching the armpit-bar to the arm itself.

Just got mine today, and had the same shoulder issue on the left side. I popped the screw out and snipped off about a half-millimeter, and it works great now. If you do this, bear in mind these are really hard screws, so make sure your side-cutters are sharp and prepare to use a lot of pressure.

I really, really want this figure. I found him in stock at a Chinese retailer for $150 usd plus $30 usd shipping. Please someone talk me out of it.

Reissue seems unlikely, as BadCube Wardog was reissued recently and FT did not follow suit.

Bababobo and Dragon Toys have it up for less on eBay so I'm gonna go for it from there most likely.

If this was reissued today, it would probably go for $130 usd I imagine. Not a terrible late tax

I definitely wouldn't pay $180. It's nice but not that nice. I might go as high as $140 if I really really loved Warpath and was desperate to own a figure of him but $180 is just ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure that Wardog hasn't been issued in years and years.

This guy has bad paint chipping if you try to transform him. Weak/loose ankles. Arms need their screws modified to hold a pose properly.

I like him but I'd advise paying over $130 as he's one of FTs weaker offerings overall imo.

Why wait when you can register a domain and announce the KO yourself?

    *Chef's kiss*

    Pretty much... Spectacular.

Got some paint chipping out of the box, not a big deal, but it's there.

    20220915_205336.jpg

Thanks all for your recommendation, and especially @Destructimis Prime, they know what photographs well.

Only issue I have now is... The knees don't move. Should I force them, or take them apart and clean off (what I assume is) excess paint?

The knees are pretty tight. I just found that gently working them got them to loosen up

Holy cow you have good eyes, I just checked my Sheri and he's got the same tiny paint chip on that back hinge so it must've done at the factory. The knees are STIFF but once you force the 1st bend (it'll sound like it's ratcheting but there's no actual ratchet there) it'll be good to go.
