that's what the one steps are for. threezero products specifically have small parts that you should not put in your mouth. believe me prime's chest windshields look tasty but it ends badly

I completely get your caution, and don't blame you. But I have a bunch of the 3zero movie TF's and all have been pretty well weathered and painted. If Jetfire isn't, it will be a big surprise.

Definitely no harm in waiting a bit though.

 

Normally, Threezero has the tendency to change some things from the prototype. I remember that their Blitzwing was supposed to have the USAF stars on the wing tips and the figure didn’t have them. I’m not saying that jet fire will have all of his decals missing, but expect some disappointment when he arrives at your doorstep. Let’s hope that this is not the case.

Can't say I'm particularly thrilled about having to apply some decals. Though I guess this thing is actually closer to a modular model kit when it's all laid out like that. Outside of that, looking pretty damn decent. Glad to see that Jetpower crest has its silver accent.

Thinking back, both Prime and Jetfire were displayed with incredibly dusty paint decos first time round weren't they? Would've liked to have seen Jetfire carry at least some of that deco from prototype to final. I didn't care for it at all on Prime. I guess a compromise had to be reached for visual consistency in the combined form.

Another of their standard stands as well? Hm. I've said I'm not the biggest fan of these.

 

Yeah as I feared, the figure that was in that combination video was the final production of Jetfire. Weathering and paint app all around has been heavily reduced from the look of it..

The prototype was nicely weathered and what better character from the Bayformer movies to apply heavy weathering too? The old rusted Tformer that's been rotting in a museum.

Disappointed in this release from them.

Looks great in this video. I'm understanding the compromise in losing that dusty desert worn deco we saw on the prototype Jetfire vs the final finish on Optimus Prime himself. Would've been pretty jarring when combined.

Outside of that change, the wear itself looks the expected standard up close.

Still not happy about some key decals being a DIY job and we're gonna have a nightmare manipulating both Jetfire and Jetpower due to the amount of swap out parts. Jetfire himself looks to have some (understandable) compromises in articulation owing to the combination. But overall, looking a fucking stunning if not intimidating and challenging set. And Jetfire's enormous.

 

Those Optimus ass pieces is so weird. Better to have just made those bits a separate piece that you just stick on later on rather than have it be on Jetfire himself.

Might get him down the line. I really would only get this to combine with Prime so he's really just a $300 accessory pack. The combined mode looks great though. I kind of want Prime displayed on his own as well without the combined gimmick. Would require two Primes though.

 

I have 3 Zero DLX Revenge of the Fallen Optimus Prime. it is an amazing master piece. even I did a review for that one on my channel. I got it for a very good price.

 

So, are the wings articulated or they just stay in the same position after plugged?
